After the traumatic experience I had with my first labor and delivery, I knew I wanted to find a doula upon finding out I was pregnant with our second. We were praying for a natural VBAC. I looked through a lot of doulas before finding Ellie, and as soon as I contacted her, my husband and I knew she was who we wanted to help us through my labor. She was such a comfort to me and my husband both. She reassured us of the process when I felt scared, made me as physically comfortable as possible and coached me with labor positions. She prayed with us throughout the hardest and most emotional moments. She even won over the entire staff at the birth center, including nurses that didn't even come into work until the day after. Every time I met a new nurse coming in, they were all telling me how amazing they heard my Doula was the day before, from other nurses and nurse midwives who were still talking about her. I was told by several people that they had met a lot of Doulas there, but never had they come across one as loving, helpful and all round great as mine. My husband and I absolutely reccomend Ellie to anyone who's considering having a Doula! Everyone loves her to pieces, and she seriously brings God's love and peace with her wherever she goes!

Ellie is such an amazing soul! We feel so incredibly lucky to have met her and had her present at our birth. She was incredibly real, down to earth and present in every interaction. She attended the birth of our second daughter at home and primarily served to support our older child through the process though she went above and beyond our expectations. She was highly professional and showed up for us when needed. Her presence brought such calmness to the whole environment. She provided such genuine support to myself and our family postpartum as well. I can say honestly that I don’t know what we would have done without her there, she has blessed our story beyond words!

I could not recommend Ellie more highly to anyone looking for doula support!

I had the BEST labor and delivery experience I could have imagined, and my birth plan went 100% as planned which almost never happens for women. Ellie played a huge role in this!

Ellie met with us to educate us about our birth options, answer all of our questions, and develop a plan with us in our third trimester. When the time came, she was with me from my early contractions, all the way to my postpartum recovery in the hospital. She rubbed my feet with essential oils, prayed for me, helped me stay hydrated, coached my husband on how to help me, and encouraged me through every single contraction. She was a trusted voice and guided me through the painful process that my body was going through. Her reassurance kept me calm when I was anxious, and she was patient the entire labor- even when I demanded that a certain worship song be playing while I pushed ?? Ellie even stayed at the hospital and helped me and the baby so my husband could go home for a night and rest. We were so blessed to have Ellie by our side as our friend and doula??
??If you are looking for a doula for your birth, choosing Ellie was the absolute BEST decision we made for our birth plan!!

If I ever have the privilege of having another baby, I would contact Ellie to be our doula again without hesitation. For my two sons, Ellie was our prenatal and labor & delivery doula. For both of these pregnancies, our meetings with Ellie were so informative--she provided us with resources and tips and always prayed with and for us. I also was "over due" for both of my boys, and preferred to allow my body to go into labor. So when I was experiencing early labor and told Ellie, she had so many people praying for us (and she was praying too) that I could relax and let my body do its thing. For my second son, I had early labor multiple times but did not progress past 3 centimeters so the labor and delivery people at the hospital sent me home. But as soon as I was in more active labor and dilated to 4cm and admitted to the hospital Ellie was there as our cheerleader, prayer warrior, and constant support. This was SO helpful because as nice as nurses can be, they have 12hr shifts, so you are introduced to new people all the time at the hospital. But Ellie is there throughout the entire labor and delivery no matter how long it takes, and that consistency is just what my husband and I needed. In fact, during labor I dilated from 5cm to 10cm so quickly (in less than an hour) that when I started feeling nauseous, it was Ellie who gently suggested I could be in transition and asked if I wanted my dilation checked. We were so glad Ellie was there as the nurse was shocked to find me fully dilated and my midwife had to drive back to the hospital from her home so we wanted to let her know as soon as possible. Thank God for Ellie, her insights, and the prayer warriors she had praying for me during the entire day! After delivery, Ellie made sure breastfeeding was going well and she came to our home to check how we were adjusting and to pray for us as we got settled postpartum. If you are looking for a prayerful, kind, knowledgable doula, I highly recommend Ellie!!

I was able to text her anytime that I needed & she checked on me as well. She has a genuine love for her clients & their babies which shines through in her work. I met Ellie in 2015 when I was 6 months pregnant. I had never been pregnant before so I had no idea what to expect. I was clueless about labor and what kinds of things were normal or not normal. With it being my first pregnancy, I was very nervous and scared. My son is almost 2 years old and to this day I am so grateful that she came into my life. She explained everything about pregnancy and labor to me. She explained the different options I had for labor, the medication options I knew nothing about, and just what to expect. Not only was she so knowledgeable but she was such a huge emotional support for me. She was there through my whole labor and made sure everything ran smoothly. Even after my son was born she would check up on both me and my son. I truly appreciate having Ellie by my side.

Having Ellie as part of my birth experience was the best choice I could have made!  She has such a calming presence...I can't imagine having done it without her!  She helped my husband and I be the perfect team as we went through the whole process.  She is so knowledgeable and has so much insight on different labor techniques and the use of essential oils.  I was blessed to have her by my side the entire time!

With the birth of my first child I did not have the assistance of a doula, and let me just say for the record, I %100 wish I would have. My experience with Ellie was incredible, I tell everyone I would not have made it without her. My labor was incredibly intense, and she was by my side the entire time. Having Ellie in the room brought so much peace, confidence and comfort to my husband and me. Her knowledge, excitement and love for the miracle of life brought an even deeper joy for the birth of our son. We felt WELL supported and educated by her, in every area. She also incorporated essential oils, which helped me with relaxation and energy, and created the perfect environment for my son to be born into. Honestly, I feel like I got way more than what I expected. You will be deeply blessed to have her apart of your birthing story!
