Birth Fee: $550 to $1175

Postpartum Rate: $30

Fee Details: I am a blessed wife to a very supportive husband who was born deaf, and we have 5 wonderful children - including a set of twins. I had many different but rewarding birth experiences with each of them (including an emergency C-section & successful VBAC), largely due to the respectful and loving care team that surrounded us at each birth. For over a decade, I've had the privilege of supporting women as a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula - and specialize in doula support for deaf mothers, families with special needs, along with families that are facing a high-risk pregnancy or a complicated fetal diagnosis. I also work at fertility clinics and in IVF labs as an observer, and support couples going through fertility treatments both physically and emotionally. I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and feel strongly that evidence-based education is a crucial element in achieving an empowering birth experience. It is an honor to serve you!

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I'd love to show you the unbiased, evidence based answers to any questions and concerns you may have regarding your hospital or birth center birth. You will be equipped to make informed decisions, create your birth plan, and feel empowered during your childbirth experience. During labor, I enjoy working together with your care provider, labor nurse, and partner/support member to create an atmosphere of focused teamwork, support, and unconditional trust in your ability to give birth according to your choices and the safety of yourself and your baby.
Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Birthing Centers are growing in popularity for low-risk Moms as a happy medium between home and hospital births. I enjoy meeting your care providers at the birthing center during your pregnancy, so that we can create a relationship that ensures the highest quality support for you as we accompany you on your childbirth journey.
Attends home births? Some Home Births
I consider it a privilege to support you at your home birth, provided that you have a medical provider in attendance (midwife/practitioner). I am not comfortable supporting unattended home births.
