Gabrielle worked for us regularly (usually 27 hours per week) from when my son was 11 months old until he was 18 months old.  We were very lucky to have her.  Gabrielle is very responsible and knowledgable and she taught us a lot about taking care of our little one.  She taught our son baby sign language, which improved our communication with him greatly.  She clearly gave attention and consideration to his developmental needs and initiated activities for him such as taking him to the library and suggesting developmentally appropriate toys.  She showed up for us in every way that we needed as new parents and exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Gabrielle was exceptional as a doula during my prenatal period, throughout my birth experience of labouring to c-section to recovery, and continues to be a great support post-partum. She has a natural gift supporting women, families, and is especially great with our newborn baby boy. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and has taken her doula training to heart.

She is great at answering questions about pregnancy and birth, and is able to offer breastfeeding support in the early stages of learning. We would highly recommend Gabrielle both as a doula and for postpartum support when you need extra help. We are so greatful for her caring approach throughout birth and to our little boy!

Gabrielle is absolutely amazing with our twin babes and even our oversized big fur baby too. She has a magical way of always staying calm and the kids love spending time with her. Highly recommend to any family in need of extra support. Having her in our home for two days a week has helped us find balance with our new family.

To start, I would say if our family could hire her full time, we would in a heart beat!

She was very natural and organic when it comes to baby care. Meaning her instincts on how to sooth and calm the baby comes naturally. Our little girl would calm down when Gabrielle feeds her with no fuss.

In terms of training, Gabrielle knows her stuff, from CPR to breastfeeding tips to baby care. She was also very helpful with household chores without request.

On a personal level, she's a calming and charming person who is easy to get along with.

Gabriel has been invaluable in my postpartum recovery. When left feeling overwhelmed and overtired she was there to help me out both physically and emotionally. She helped problem-solve for my tendonitis that I could hold my baby by helping me find a type of sling that worked for us. She also helped come up with breastfeeding techniques that worked for me giving my physical limitations. She offered emotional support and reassurance when I needed it most. She helped talk me through the various stages of postpartum and was very knowledgeable regarding my recovery process.
I found all the paperwork and websites I was given at the hospital to be too overwhelming and Gabrielle helped me sort through all that and verbally was able to teach me what I needed to know to get me on a more confident path of motherhood. She also helped my husband to understand my needs and limitations as a new mom.
Struggling with postpartum depression, knowing that she was there to help, really got me through some dark times.
I am eternally grateful for all her care and support. I feel more reassured and confident as a mother for her helping me through this time.
