Megan was just exactly the support I needed when I had my second baby. She is extremely knowledgeable about all types of births and issues arlosing before, during, and after birth. I came to her with many questions and she always provided well researched information and resources. She is also a warm soul that can make you feel at ease even in times of physical and emotional challenge. She is a breath of fresh air and a trusted support through this wild journey of becoming a parent. I would highly recommend Megan over and over! our family is so thankful!

We were so lucky to have had Megan referred to us from a friend who also used her services! She is knowledgeable, professional, fun, was an excellent advocate for me during labor and delivery process. I love that she teaches yoga and several labor classes at Limber Yoga in West Seattle. She is all about efficient labor and for getting into the best position to allow for an easier labor process, which was just what I was looking for when researching and interviewing doulas.  The classes she teaches were a great prep! I cannot speak highly enough of Megan and what a great doula she is! My husband said he felt like a fish out of water during the whole L and D process and he was so thankful to have Megan there to help us both! She is the best! I highly recommend her!

Megan was excellent .. awesome. She was a part of the process before, during, and after. She was reassuring, informative, communicative, and available. She felt very accesssible. She offered tips on all aspects of the process, including stretches and massages to do before and prior to going to the hospital, and of course while there. She was great at interfacing with the staff at the hospital. Without a doubt, her presence made the whole birthing process that much better. I cannot recommend her (and the overall idea of having a Doula) highly enough. You can't go wrong.

Our experience with Megan as our doula was wonderful. I would recommend her to all of my close family and friends. Even before I went into labor, she was checking in and sending encouraging words. During labor, she was pacient, knowledgeable and supportive. Her calm presence was reassuring when the pain increased. She has many ideas and experience with ways to deal with pain in labor such as self-hypnosis and body positioning. My husband and I do not know what we would have done without her there. When we look back on the birth of our little boy, we will always think fondly of Megan and her part in the amazing experience.

My partner and I are so grateful to have had Megan as our doula! I first met Megan through the prenatal yoga class she teaches at Limber in West Seattle. When I found out she was also a doula, I couldn’t imagine a better presence to guide us through birth. Megan was extremely helpful in providing relevant resources to educate us about natural birth and hypno birthing techniques (specific to our birth plan). At our 38-week visit before the birth, I expressed that I had been experiencing a lot of anxiety and insomnia. Megan guided me through an iRest Yoga Nidra meditation that allowed me to visualize and understand how relaxation and anxiety were physically manifested in my body. Not only was this helpful in the last week of my pregnancy, but it also gave Megan and I a common language for the feelings I was experiencing during childbirth. Megan provided an amazing balance to what turned into a highly monitored hospital birth. She was available at all hours of the day, and ended up joining us at the hospital close to 3am. When all is said and done, we were able to have the natural birth that we were hoping for, and had a very positive birth experience. My partner and I both know that having Megan on our birth team played a huge part in having such a positive and successful birth experience.

Megan was a fantastic doula! We could not have asked for a better match! Not only was she there for my husband and I, but she was there for my family as well! She genuinely cares for her clients and she has a real passion for all things birth related. We also took her hypno-yoga birth series class, where she was able to teach us many tools and techniques that we've been able to apply to our lives as well as the birthing process! it really worked out well for us to be able to pair the childbirth classes with her doula services, but I would recommend her for either one seperately as well. We were able to have a very peaceful natural birth in a birthing center with Megan by our side. Even after birth, she has checked up on us and continued to offer her love and support! She has become a friend in addition to being part of our support system.

I used Megan's services over this past summer 2015 and she was a life saver! I was recovering from a C section, trying to beat record breaking heat, and learning how to nurse my baby who had some latching issues. Megan was super helpful and supportive. She provided helpful tips/tricks, resouces to help reduce my anxiety, and was a loving caregiver to my little baby while I rested and nourished myself. I would recommend Megan to anyone I love. Thanks Megan!
