Regina was amazing during my natural childbirth in a hospital.  She was supportive and informative for months before labor, highly knowledgeable about pretty much everything, and always available.  For every off-the-wall worry and far-fetched concern (which seemed so real and overwhelming/terrifying in the moment), she had an evidenced-based answer and a calming presence that helped me make well-reasoned decisions.  She came to the hospital with me and helped me labor through what ended up not yet being the real thing, and was supportive through it all, and told me to call her again, that it was okay if we went to the hospital a few times without giving birth.  When labor finally started, almost nothing went as I expected it to.  Through it all Regina was a calming presence, perceptice, quietly helpful and encouraging.  She anticipated my needs and was well-prepared, with a wide variety of comfort measures and tools for my use, and was able to suggest /use them unobtrusively when needed during labor.  She was a good coach when I needed it, quiet when I needed it quiet, and supported my husband in his efforts to support me.  Having her as my Doula significantly reduced my stress through the entire experience.  I would unhesitatingly recommend her to anyone, especially those wanting a natural childbirth.  However, I know if I'd chosen to have an epidural, or had ended up with a C-section she'd have been just as supportive and knowledgeable.  After labor was over, the hospital nurse who had attended us at a hospital known for being natural-birth friendly quietly let me know that Regina was one of the most involved and helpful doulas this nurse had ever seen, and I totally believe it.  I hired her as an IBCLC LC later on to help with nursing, latching, pumping, weight gain of my daughter, and she was amazing then too.  I'd recommend her as a Doula & IBCLC Lactation Consultant.

Regina was absolutely wonderful during my birth experience! She coached my husband and I through the Birth Bootcamp prior to my delivery, and made us both feel completely prepared and excited for the birth of our son. My husband was on the fence about a natural birth, but after meeting with Regina just once he was completely excited and confident in our ability to have a natural labor and delivery. For myself, as a first time mom, I didn't have a clue what to expect when it came to having a baby. After meeting with Regina I felt informed and ready to have my sweet baby boy.

When the time came to have my son, Regina was right there by my side. She made sure the atmosphere was calming and quiet, just the way I wanted it. Regina was on the spot with great techniques to help me through each contraction. It was so nice knowing what to expect and feeling calm as my body did what it is made to do! I was able to deliver my son naturally, and I am so thankful to Regina for her calming presence and coaching throughout my pregnancy and delivery. She is absolutely the best!

Regina was such a wonderful doula! What I loved most about her was how calm and comforting she was throughout my labor, which helped me to stay calm. Also, she empowered me by asking what I preferred, encouraged me to be assertive with the medical professionals and ask for what I wanted, and supported me through it all. I would highly recommend her services.
