This was the best investment I made during my pregnancy l. This was my third baby and I so wish that I had hired a doula for those births as well. I am especially glad to have had one this time around. My birth plan did not come to fruition, as often happens, but Paige helped me to deal with the disappointment and eased my mind about the steps to follow. She was spectacular at helping me to find positions that helped manage the pain of contractions, even though I was stuck to the fetal monitor the whole time. After being induced with pitocin my fear was that I wouldn’t be able to handle the pain without meds but thanks to Paige, I did! Things didn’t go as I planned, but they turned out perfectly. Not only was she an amazing doula, she also coached my husband on how to help me through the contactions. This was invaluable as he was quite clueless the last two times lol. If you want your labor to be a magical experience, I definitely recommend hiring Paige!

Paige is a fantastic doula! She has a wonderful, calming presence and a well of experience. This was our first baby and Paige provided me and my husband with perfect guidance -- no pressure, no judgement, just pure support.  Our goal was to have an unmedicated birth and she gave us the confidence to make it happen. She was quick to provide us with resources and to answer any questions we had. I went past my due date and she checked in on us daily and gave us advice to help get labor started.  During labor she was extremely active and engaged, helping me move around and work through contractions.  She also supported my husband and made sure he had what he needed to help me through labor.  Labor was intense, but with her help we made it through fearlessly.  Thanks to Paige, our daughter's birth was a positive, powerful bonding experience for our family.

Paige was so gentle and intuitive about my needs during labor. She was with me for over 24 hours. She knew exactly how to massage my back to relieve pain during contractions. She was reassuring when I was nervous and confused about what was happening. Paige truly has a servants heart for a Mama in pain. I feel so lucky she was with me during such a long a painful labor. She has such a kind loving energy. Paige has definitely found her calling, she was meant to be a doula.

Paige was amazing! My husband and I were college athletes and first time parents who did not know how to prepare for what I envisioned would be one of the hardest workouts of my life. Paige helped us walk through the emotional aspects of childbirth weeks before my delivery. That was such an important aspect of my experience and I felt truly prepared for it because of Paige (in addition to preparing for the physical aspect of course). Paige has a very calming presence.  She is non judgmental and open minded. During labor, she is a wealth of knowledge and has suggestions but is very thoughtful in her methodology for introducing them.

Paige gave me confidence in my induction at 39W4 days and explained the pros of my provider's instructions in a way that took away my fear. I had a very intense but unmedicated (other than the induction) 7 hour labor. Paige brainstormed with my husband and made suggestions that got me through fear and self doubt despite having very short to nonexistent breaks between contractions. She knew the signs of progress and reminded me of them. her calming touch was so reassuring throughout. She was an amazing resource for my husband as well, backing him up and reminding him to eat and drink and how to physically support me in different positions.

My husband and I highly recommend Paige. She is creative, thoughtful, and prepared. I could not happier with our labor experience! Thank you Paige!

Paige was absolutely wonderful and one of the main reasons I was able to successfully deliver my little girl naturally. When my husband and I first met her we were immediately comfortable and confident that she would be an integral part of our birth plan. I underestimated the need to have a true professional like Paige there during my birth. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, our birth plan, my desire to use/not use pain medication and what interventions I would be comfortable with. She recommeded a wonderful woman for childbirth classes and was then able to follow up that information with her own tips and tricks. The morning I went in to labor I contacted Paige first!! I knew I wanted to give her as much notice as possible. She then checked in with me every 30-60minutes until we determined it was time to head to the hospital. She met my husband and I as we entered and was there until my little one was born. Unfortunately, when I went to the hospital there were no labor and delivery rooms available so I was placed in a triage room and labored there. I know that without the support of Paige I would not have been successful in having my baby without any intervention. She talked me through every single contraction, encouraged me through the really tough ones, and was instrumental when it came time to push. Fortunately for me my little one was born after just 6 pushes!! Paige stayed with me during all of the post partum care and only left once I was being sent to the other/baby room to recover. My husband and I will be forever grateful to Paige for her caring, professional, and encouraging spirit. If/when we decide to have a second baby we will most certainly ask Paige to be part of the birth plan again.

Paige came highly recommended by one of our midwives, and I doubt we could have found a better birth companion for our hospital birth!  Our pre-birth conversations with her yielded good information and ideas that we hadn’t yet encountered in our preparatory reading and classes. During labor and birth she was a constant source of support: Paige was calm, knowledgeable, and very “present.” For me—a first time, older mom—her words provided just the right amounts of advice in the most encouraging, well-timed, and “real” ways, especially during my unusually long transition and pushing stages.  Her caring presence and expertise made it much easier for my husband and a close friend--who were also there--to help me and our baby. She also seemed to work incredibly well with the attending medical professionals.  As a final note, I really appreciated her post-birth visit, as it helped me recollect and reflect on the whole experience.

Compassionate, connected, and informed. Hiring Paige to be our doula was the best decision we made during the pregnancy.  She was absolutely phenomenal throughout the pregnancy and especially during the labor. I cannot imagine having done it without her, and I know that her involvement had a huge influence on our ability to reach our birth plan goals.  Paige provided great support and education in the prenatal stage, and she truly went above and beyond to help my husband and I feel confident and ready for the birth. She really puts the mother and couple first to help them have the experience they desire, and she is very skilled at catering to the individual needs of her clients.  She remained fully present with me throughout a very long labor.  This is obviously her calling, as she is truly incredible at working with laboring mothers, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We wanted a childbirth with minimal or no interventions. When Paige agreed to be our doula, she shared tips to prepare for childbirth, and continued to follow up on my wife's well being . On the day of childbirth, her help was critical . Her presence was encouraging. We would have been severely shorthanded without her know how. We heartily recommend Paige and we are glad she was available to assist us.

Paige was born to be a doula!

It is clear that this is her calling. She is extremely warm, while being confident and reassuring. What I appreciated the most about my experience with Paige was the education that she provided. I am a researcher by nature, it’s also what I get paid to do, but when you’re in labor (or close to it) you may forget everything that you know! I liked how Paige presented the standard information, but also seemed to tailor it to me, specifically. Paige had taken the time to get to know me prior to my labor, so she understood exactly what I was going to need during the laboring process.

I hired Paige to serve as my doula during my second pregnancy. I was skeptical about getting a doula during a second pregnancy as I heard that labor may be much faster and I didn’t know if it would be worth the money I would be spending. But, from the experience with my first born, I knew that my husband couldn’t provide the emotional support that I needed. Also, although I had a midwife, she was more consumed with the clinical aspects of things and couldn’t help me as much with suggestions on laboring techniques and additional support or advice that my family and I needed. Although my labor was much quicker than the first, Paige was worth every penny and more! I actually enjoyed this labor because of Paige! After my labor, my midwife praised Paige and was sure to quickly grab her contact info to share with future moms!

I asked Paige to be my doula for my fourth pregnancy.  This was my first time using a doula, but I knew from experience that my long labors needed additional, dedicated support.  As usual, I had everything planned and ready, but as often happens - these things never go quite as planned.  Paige was with me every step of the way, from coming with me to extra prenatal visits when I went way past my due date, to helping me jump start and keep my labor going when it looked like I might be sent back home.  Pretty much nothing went as planned actually.  Without Paige's calm support and encouraging words, I would have felt lost and out of control.  She was my rock.  I trusted her completely and that was a huge relief so that I could focus on my labor.  Hours later, Paige was still right there with me.   She helped me physically, mentally, and emotionally.  I can't thank her enough.  Paige would be my first and only choice if I needed a doula again.  I highly recommend her!

Paige was an excellent Doula. After the first time I met her I knew we were compatible. She helped me plan for labor physically, mentally, and emotionally. At my labor she was very helpful and calming. I was very happy after I gave birth. She helped make it a wonderful experience!
