What can I say about Molly....

Little background first. I'm a 39 yr old country boy who works shift work. I don't put up with bs and my time is valuable. So, when my wife came to me with getting a Doula, you can imagine my skepticism.

First thing you'll notice with Molly is she's real. She really cares about what you want and how things are going. Secondly, you'll notice she's really there to help the partner just as much. I don't do well in hospital settings or when my wife is in pain but with Molly there, plan in hand, she took care of everything. My wife chose midwives over the hospital and Molly was super helpful to us. Last but not least, she is one of the nicest down to earth people you will meet, hands down.

Take from a stubborn, gruff, tired, country boy.... She's worth it. I recommend her to everyone I know and meet that are or are thinking of having a child.

Working with Molly was an absolute joy. She is a modern women who respects your wishes and helps facilitate your labor and delivery the way you invision it. I loved that she was available by text, email or phone call and was always quick to respond. On the day of my labor and delivery, having her there (especially as a resource for my husband) was extremely helpful and she made my natural childbirth as comfortable as possible. I would absolutely recommend Molly and we would use her again in a heartbeat!

Molly was such a wonderful addition to our birth team! In addition to being there on the day our son was born and supporting both myself and my husband, she was a great resource for me prior to labor when I had questions. Molly was so supportive when I deviated from my birth plan and chose to get an epidural and really made me feel comfortable and at ease with my decision. My husband and I both really appreciated having Molly and would hire her again!

Molly was a wonderful doula during the birth of our daughter. She was highly knowledgeable and responsive before, during and after the birth process. She supplied us with a wealth of information about labor, birth, and what to expect post partum. I appreciated her calm and gentle spirit during labor and her "roll with the punches" attitude. Molly is very easy to work with and I would absolutely recommend her services to any mom-to-be that would like a doula who is easy going and a fantastic resource for anything birth related.

My husband and I had decided that a hospital birth was the best fit for us, but wanted support at home and at the hospital. We decided to get a doula and am so glad we did. Molly was informative and encouraging from the start. She helped us look at all our options and prioritize our wishes for the birth of our baby boy. She was excellent at communicating in a timely manor and was professional yet comfortable. When labor started Molly was available and ready to support in any way. She brought her expertise in comforting me and encouraging my husband in ways to support me. While in the hospital Molly was by my side and advocated for our birth plan. As the labor continued and changed, she never stopped being hands-on and encouraging me. We really would not have had the positive life-changing experience without Molly. Wouldn't change it for the world.

Initially I had no plans to have a doula for my birth, but as delivery got closer I changed my mind. I am so glad I decided to have a doula! Not only did I have one doula, but I had two. I asked our birth class instructor who is also a doula to be at our birth. She had a lot on her plate, but still wanted to try to be there. She wanted to make sure she had a backup doula so I wouldn't be left without someone when she was busy with her other obligations. That is how I met Molly. Molly and I connected a right away. Plus my dogs loved her! She was available for me by phone or email if I needed her. She helped me make a streamlined birth plan in case of a hospital transfer. She also brought me a TENS unit for pain relief before I went into labor so I could use it before my doulas arrived.

I ended up going to 41 weeks and 5 days. I was induced using a catheter balloon that was placed above my cervix. This is a pretty uncomfortable way to be induced! It caused contractions immediately and I could barely sit down. I used the TENS unit to help ease the pain of the contractions. The next night I went into labor (finally!) and used the TENS unit at home before I went to the birth center and then for a few hours once I arrived. I know it helped me labor at home for as long as possible.

Molly's support during labor was so important to my birth success! She and Sara helped to sift the baby into position with a rebozo when he wasn't in the right place. She helped with positioning me and massage. I attribute my ability to make it through labor without pain medication to my doulas. They were there for the whole process and never ran out of ideas to help me labor as best as I could.

After 17 hours of labor (including 2.5 hours of pushing) I delivered a healthy 10lb 3oz baby boy! Molly is a fantastic support before, during, and after birth and I am so thankful she was there for me. I would love to have her at my next birth!

We had an awesome experience with Molly! We chose Molly as our doula because she has the calm and peaceful demeanor that we were looking for.  Once we decided to hire her as our doula she made her self available to us for any questions that may have come up with our pregnancy or up coming labor and birth.  She wanted to support us to the best of her ability and make sure that we had plenty of resources available to help prepare us and address any concerns that we may have had about the process.  We kept Molly updated on the progress of the pregnancy and when we finally went into labor she made it over to our house quickly.  She was a great support to my husband and myself, offering moral and physical support.  We had an awesome, intense and very quick birth (4 hours) and we both greatly appreciated having her there for the extra support and encouragement.  Not only was she a great support to us but she also jumped in and helped the midwife bring in all her supplies for our home birth and helped where she could afterwards to clean up and get me lots of water and snacks so that I could feel human again too!  My husband and I were both grateful to have Molly at the birth of our daughter and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering having a doula for their labor and birth.

I had Molly come and help me with our birth plan for the upcoming birth of my second son. This was a great experience for me as it really gave me some time to ask as many questions as I needed and get clarification on what I would want it to look like. Molly was super nice and had tons of resources and was able to help me with any questions I had. I highly recommend working with her.
