Tammy was wonderful to work with! We felt instantly at ease with her like we had been friends already for a long time. This helped because we did not feel like there was a stranger assisting us with something so important as helping us birth our baby girl. She also was very helpful and knowledgable in the birthing process. I can't say enough positive things about Tammy!

Tammy was instrumental in helping our family settle in with a newborn. We have an unusual situation as our 3 year old is our Foster Son and our newborn baby was our first biological baby and our first baby ever! Needless to say, I needed help. She provided so much more than just a helping hand. She was there to listen to me and helped me navigate normal vs. not normal. She took my baby girl when my son really needed me. She helped me keep my house clean and in order and even came the day before Christmas Eve to help me prepare for company. I am so glad that I found out about her services as I couldn't imagine trying to manage those first 5 weeks alone. Being a mom to a newborn is challenging and I appreciated her help and professional advice. I was also breastfeeding and her advice was so helpful! I would absolutely recommend hiring her as your post-partum doula, she is kind and considerate, helpful and knowledgable. I will absolutely call on her again if we are lucky enough to have another baby someday! Worth every penny, totally worth the price. We actually got to enjoy those first few weeks instead of just struggling through! Highly recommend!

"Doula? A what?" That is something you may be thinking to yourself or blurted out loud. I had the privilege of working with a doula-in-training prior to my scheduled c-section. She provided me with various sources of information to help me develop a birthplan and type of postpartum care I wanted to receive in the hospital. Tammy met with me (and husband) prior to the birth of our first child. She quickly familiarized herself with our birthplan, and engaged us in a series of Q & A to determine what kind of temperment we had, our postpartum doula expectations, and most importantly...what kind of care we wanted to provide our new baby with. Our sweet baby had eating challenges and his pediatric plan of care required us to wake him every 3 hours to eat. Nursing and cup feedings could last up to 1.5 hours followed by snuggles and napping. This was on top of daily visits to our neighborhood pediatrian for weigh-ins and exams. Tammy was our cheerleader and primary support as we acclamated ourselves to parenthood and dealt with the physical limitations associated with my c-section recovery. Have I yet mentioned her angelic support as I practiced nursing?!? Her presence was calming. Her presence helped me allow myself to shower, eat, and take care of myself. She even did a few overnight shifts which helped us feel rejuvenated. Familial support is a wonderful addition to a postpardum doula. However, I want to provide my personal recommendation that if you can afford a doula as skilled as Tammy...DO IT! You will respond to her advice better than your mother or sister. That's human nature. Unlike when family members visit, you will not be embarassed that your hair looks like it hit a light socket and you can't remember the last time you swept your hardwood floors. Best of luck and make Tammy's postpartum doula care a top priority! Your postpartum self, partner, and new baby will thank you!

Tammy was a wonderful support to our family when our daughter was born. During the first days, Tammy was able to understand what we needed. From making light meals to teaching my daughter and I the process of brestfeeding, Tammy was gentle, understanding and supportive. I felt very at ease having Tammy watch our daughter while i was able to rest. Further, as we progressed through the first month, Tammy began helping me with household chores and the organization of our home and baby's room. I highly recommend Tammy!
