I have had the privilage of having Veronica support me through the birth of my 4rth and my 5th child. She attended my home birth and then 2.5 years later my ceasaran birth. Veronica is very caring and works hard to ensure that she is supporting you in the way that you want. She is very professional and meets with you and your family before hand to discuss your birth plans. I have a very supportive husband but without Veronica I don't know what I would have done. I thought I might lose my mind with my 4rth but because she was there I knew I could do it. The pushing was very difficult and she helped me through it. She stayed after the birth until I felt comfortable. She made some food for me and helped with my baby so I could have a shower. She also started some laundry from the home birth. With my emergency c section Veronica was there before I went ot the OR and let me know she would wait for us in our room once we got out of recovery. She stayed with me while my husband went home to get all of our things we would need for staying over night. I was in so much pain and she was able to help me get in a comfortable position so that I could feed my baby. She also held him so I could sleep and she took some lovely photos.  I would highly recommend Veronica to any expectant mother. She knows just what to say and do and how to augment the support that the other people you have at your birth are already providing. She is reliable, easy to talk to and easy to get a hold of.

Veronica brought so much to my birthing experience! Not only was she equipped with multiple natural and alternative ways to help me ease the pressure of labor, but she came with a peace and wisdom about her that was irreplaceable. The TENS machine she brought helped me to be in better control of my contractions, her counter pressure techniques grounded me and she was gentle in consistently reminding me to release tension in my body and surrender to the process.
We really appreciated having Veronica be a part of our birthing team, she was truly a helpful addition. Not once did I feel that she took from my husband's roll as my support person but she encouraged him in ways that he could help me or took over menial tasks he was doing so he could be with me, and was in turn a support for him.
Our prenatal visits hosted a space for bonding and having questions answered about what was to come. She provided us with many articles on requested topics and showed a genuine interest in knowing my birth 'plan'. As a first time mom, i found it quite comforting to work with an experienced mother in this position.
Not only was Veronica there to hold my hand as I birthed my son into this world, but she so kindly documented my labor by capturing precious and fleeting moments in a series of photographs that she later gifted to us.
Veronica is passionate and skilled at what she does as a doula and I recommend her services, whole heartedly.

I was initially a little leery of having a stranger present at the birth of our son, but Veronica was such a blessing. She was totally on the ball with skills and tricks that made a real difference and her energy was totally unintrusive. I really appreciated that whenever she noticed me doing something that she could do, she would offer to so that I could be with my wife. She did an amazing job and we're so grateful to have had her present with us.

Veronica was a great support leading up to my labor. She spoke with me about past labors and shared her experiences. She did some henna on my round belly that was absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately, my labor was extremely quick and Veronica didn't arrive in time. However, she stayed dutifully by my side and assisted with anything we needed after the birth of our daughter.

I'm the weeks following birth Veronica checked in to make sure everything was well.

I was so glad to have Veronica there for my pregnancy and post partum. She's such a wonderful person and would be a wonderful asset to anyone welcoming a baby into the world.

Veronica was my doula for the birth of my second son.  We met 4 times before my labour and she dedicated hours to getting to know me and my wishes for the birth of my second son.

Nothing about my labour went as planned and I was induced (my greatest fear) in a strange hospital due to my local hospital having no available beds.

Veronica was my rock for every stage of labour. Once I was induced, the contractions picked up in intensity pretty quickly and she was there for every single contraction, talking me through it, rubbing or applying pressure to my back during back labour, walking laps with me, keeping me hydrated, keeping me relaxed and calm, and encouraging and coaching me to let my body do its job so my labour could progress.  She discussed how I would feel during transition so I could be prepared (I was planning a drug free birth) and when the time came and I felt like I couldn't possibly go on, Veronica reminded me that we were almost there, that I was strong and safe and she continued to calmly coach me through every contraction.  Her presence made my second birth a calm and empowering experience. Through her coaching and education I was able to understand and appreciate every stage of what my body was going through to deliver my son. I was calm enough to remember every moment of my labour and delivery and when compared to my first labour (without a doula) the experiences were black and white.

Ill never be able to fully express in words, my appreciation of Veronica and how much stronger she made me feel. She was an outstanding support person and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
