Fee Details: Warmest aloha, congratulations and thank you for checking out my page! As I enter into the last two semesters of nursing school I've made a conscious decision not to accept new birth-doula clients (June 2018). The last nearly 5 years has been such an honor serving families in a birth doula capacity. I am still accepting clients that chose support in other ways. My offerings will still include: lactation support, postpartum support, prenatal/postpartum yoga, birth workshops (private/group) and placenta encapsulation. Text or call me 388-5985 for more information. Happy birthing. Lots of love and Aloha, Brianna.

Aloha, let me introduce you to Brianna who has been my postpartum doula since my first child was born. I met her for the first time just before I delivered. My husband and I just moved from Colorado at the time. So we didn't have family or friends in Hawaii that can help us after I delivered. So I was a bit nervous about our new life. But ever since I met Brianna for the first time, she has helped, advised and guided me when I needed her. So acctually it was nothing to worry about. She is very kind, knowledgeable, patient, calm, flexible and hard working. My English is not perfect since I'm originally from Japan, but she is very perceptive about the moods of others, so I'm very comfortable with her. That's why I would also recommend her to moms who are from foreign countries. Oh, and she is a yoga teacher too. So sometimes I could get a private yoga lesson in our house. After yoga I got some massages from her. It was so good! She always took great care of our house, child (like her child) and also our dog! So I really appreciate her. Thank you so much, Brianna!!
I'm very grateful my girl friend referred me to Brianna. I took her prenatal yoga class she teaches on Saturday's at Aloha Yoga Kula. She is so knowledgeable I decided I wanted to take advantage of her knowledge by taking some private prenatal yoga classes; this was one of the best choices I've made in recent history ;) She has her own home studio, which is so lovely and calming. I also hired her for her Loving Birth Workshop. It was so thourough and supplied us with more than enough information to go into labor confidently. She worked with my husband to help him be more hands on and confident. I really apprecaited this when I was in labor.
Brianna encapsulated my placenta and I used her for about 20 hours of post partum service. I felt her prices were reasonable for how much help she was. You can tell she is very passionate about her work. She was always punctual, knowledgable, friendly and compassionate.
It's taken me some time to finally sit down and write a review for Brianna. I delivered my beautiful baby boy earth side in July with the help of Brianna. I was referred to Bri by word of mouth. She doula'ed for one of my best friends, so when I started to think I would like to use a doula, I knew I should meet her. I knew pretty much right away I would hire Brianna. In fact, after leaving the interview I sent her a text and said I wanted her to be my doula. I had some complications through pregnancy and every time I asked her about what I was going through she always had plenty of local resources for me and fact based articles for me to read. She responded quickly and positively. I'm still, so thankful for her positivity. I upgraded my package with her to include some yoga, essential oil rollers, placenta encapsulation, salve and tincture. For the services she provided, her cost was very reasonable in my opinion. Brianna and I (and my husband) got pretty familiar with one another through the months and we were really in synch when it came time for me to labor. My husband and I were appreciative of how thorough she was beforehand because we were able to recall the labor techniques and body positioning she taught us. I labored at home for a little while, but because of some of my previously mentioned complications I wanted to be near the birthing center. I labored for a long time and Brianna really never left my side. She remained so calm and attentive during my entire labor keeping me hydrated (so sweet). She helped us to labor and birth our son on our terms, was an advocate for me when things were moving too quickly and she was knowledgeable. I would say she was irreplaceable in our birthing experience. I'm thankful I met Brianna, I think things would have turned out very differently if I didn't have her by my side. All set and done, my husband was probably more thankful than I to have her! I've found her to be an asset postpartum as well.
At first the thought of having a stranger in my room during one of the most intimate and painful times in a woman's life seemed odd. The first time my husband and I met her she was so calming, yet eager to get to know us and find out our ideal birth experience. By the time we left our first meeting she no longer felt like a stranger, and I knew that she was the perfect fit for us. She truly loves her job and it shows. In the following weeks she answered all my silly questions about pregnancy, birth and everything in between. She even made the hour drive to my house to show my husband and I some amazing labor positions to use before going to the hospital. When I finally went into active labor I had no idea what I was in for but she was right there with her positive reinforcement and calming attitude to help relax not only me but my terrified husband. Together as a team, we labored over 24 hours. She did not leave my side once. With essential oils diffusing in the corner Brianna helped me change positions, did counter pressure for hours, made sure I was eating and drinking and being the most effect during my labor. My birth did not go exactly how i planned it, but Brianna helped us make informed decisions on our options and helped me be emotionally okay with was happening. When i finally gave birth to my baby girl she even snapped a few quick keepsake photos. Brianna has kept in touch since birth to make sure everything is still going smoothly. She even did my placenta encapsulation. I highly recommend hiring Brianna. She will do everything she can to make your birth experience the best it can be. Her amazing attitude and wealth of knowledge make her a great asset to your pregnancy, birth and post postpartum experience.
Wow wow wow. i can't say enough about Brianna! I highly recommend her and tell all my expecting mama's to call her. Brianna was sweet, attentive, knowledgable, thorough, caring and loving. She is everything a birthing companion should be. She was soooo easy to work with. She came when I called, never left my side, gently reminded my husband to be more involved and hands on and knew so many 'tricks'. She was exactly what I needed her to be in each moment. She was patient and so so kind. If you are thinking about hiring a doula, call her. She even helped me establish a good latch and came over after we were home to help even more. i will, without a doubt, use Brianna for baby #2 as well.
