Dani was and is absolutely the best! My husband and I had no idea what a Doula was when I got pregnant and I was wondering if we even needed one but I am so grateful we hired Dani. Not only did she go above and beyond what we expected by staying past what the contract listed due to some complications I had, but her expertise on different laboring positions and the fact that she interceded on my behalf when the labor nurse suggested a position that wouldn't be as beneficial as one Dani knew, shows how Dani is truly exceptional and so caring for each of the couples/ moms she helps.

She seriously knows her stuff and knew exactly where to massage what and how to make me as comfortable as possible. I had an idea of what my birth plan was and things did not go the way I had hoped and Dani was great about communicating with me about my options and making sure that when I changed my mind it wasn't a spur-of-the-moment idea but was what I really wanted. If Dani is available to be your Doula choose her. You will not regret it.

Dani exudes calm and had a gentle and reassuring demeaner throughout the entire process. We appreciated her measured and careful approach to helping us construct our birth plan, while also managing our expectations about the unpredictability that can come with labor. We cannot thank her enough for partnering with us for the birth of our son. I highly recommend her services!

Dani's calm and knowledgeable presence is something I would recommend to any new parent considering hiring a doula. She offers informative prenatal sessions and is especially good at providing education about the physical aspects of labor, birth, and preparation for both. She spent over twelve hours in the hospital with my husband and me during a birth that inevitably did not go to plan, and she was exceedingly helpful in providing physical and emotional support. During our postpartum visit she demonstrated the benefits of swaddling, which I suspect saved us from countless sleepless nights! She's great.

Dani was amazing! She was knowledgable, supportive, and a calming presence. She helped prepare me mentally and physically. I had the birth experience I had always hoped for and I couldn't have done it without her! So grateful for Dani!

Dani offered exactly what I was looking for in a doula—a knowledgeable, non-judgmental companion offering information and support along the way. My partner and I benefited a lot from both the private childbirth education classes taught by Dani and our prenatal consultations with her. She was responsive to communication by email and text, and she offered thoughtful suggestions about how to understand the emotional side of the birth experience as well as the physiology.

My husband and I hired Dani for the birth of our second baby to make sure that I have the needed support while my husband stays with our toddler. But she basically exceeded our expectations with her knowledge, kindness, and thoughtfulness. During our three prenatal visits, we had extensive talks about my goals for the labor and she also showed me techniques and exercises that could help with my back pain. During the labor, she provided very helpful tips on different poses and pain relief techniques. Overall we had a wonderful experience working with Dani.

My husband and I hired Dani to be our doula for the birth of our first child. Through the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum she has been WONDERFUL! We couldn’t have made a better choice. She is kind, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. We had a home birth, and our plan was to have Dani come earlier than the midwife to help guide us if we had any questions. I’m sure she would’ve been a wonderful asset during early labor, but my labor ended up going extremely fast and I didn’t have that early labor time like I planned.

She came to our house several times during the pregnancy, which was great because we felt like we were good friends by the time the birth rolled around! She taught me lots of different exercises to help prepare me for labor - the breathing exercises especially came in handy during labor. Dani was also always super helpful when I’d text her a question, and could offer me natural remedies and solutions.

At 38 weeks my midwife sent me to the hospital for further testing, with the thought that I might be induced if the tests showed complications. Thankfully everything was fine, and I was able to go through with my home birth! I am not comfortable in a hospital, but I was comforted by the fact that I knew Dani would be there and is very knowledgeable about hospital procedures and could help me achieve the most natural birth possible in there.

Dani made sure I was drinking and eating during labor, and brought me hot tea in bed after he was born!  I’m also told that after he was born, Dani was in my kitchen washing all my dirty dishes ????

She was absolutely invaluable when it came to breastfeeding! She helped me make sure he got a good latch, and answered all my questions. She also gave us great advice on how to safely bed share that night!

If you’re looking for a smart, capable, natural-minded, and calming doula, you’ve found her!!

As a first time dad I am very happy we decided to use a doula. I never heard of a doula 4 months before the birth. We were expecting some complications and boy did we have them. We worried that the doctors would push us for a birth that we did not want which is exactly what happened. Luckily Dani helped us prepare, gave us confidence to speak up to the doctors about what we wanted/thought, and gave us great information to make unbiased decisions. I really think things would have gone much differently for us without Dani's help (she will not tell you what decisions to make but she will lay out the facts to help you decide). Besides providing help on the mental aspect of the birth she is very knowledgable and a great help at positions changes and keeping up our motivation during the birth. There is so much more she did but these are the things I appreciated the most.

If you are undecided whether or not you need a doula..... you do. I can't recommend Dani enough.

Dani was a very thorough and supportive doula who respected my choices, helped me create a birth plan that worked for me, and supported me during labor. She met with me and my husband multiple times prior to the birth and has continued to check in with me and send resources after the birth. I am very glad I hired Dani and highly recommend her!

Wow, where do I start? I hired Danielle later in my first pregnancy. I was pretty well read on natural child birth, the biology of it, and what to expect, however I felt that it was really important to have the support and wisdom of someone who had actually been through the experience that I was seeking. Although my baby was breech and unable to come naturally, I was still happy that I had Danielle on my team. She stayed with me through labor, helped me keep calm and manage my pain with massage and other techniques. When we went to the hospital she was a welcome friendly face in a scary situation. Everything came out great with my daughter's emergency c-section. Danielle stayed with me for several hours after she was born to make sure everything was ok. I'm not planning on anymore children (this one was a surprise pregnancy), however if I did get pregnant again I would hire Danielle again in a minute! I have only great things to say.

When I found out I was expecting this summer after several losses, I was anxious to say the least. Overtime I grew more excited but with a little fear hanging on. My last birth was an emerency c-section with my preemie son. I started to envision a different birth for myself with the goal of a vbac. From research I learned hiring a doula would be an essential tool in achieving that goal.

I met with Dani several times prior to my daughter's birth. She was super friendly, easy to talk to and informed. She helped me design a birth plan, gave me facebook groups to check out and pointed me to various sites to do some more research. Thanks to all of that I had the knowledge to bring to my OBGYN practice which more than came in handy when I got some push back towards the end of my pregnancy to schedule a repeat c-section. I learned from her to be the advocate for myself/family in the birth we wanted.

That became even more essential having that knowledge when I found out my baby was measuring in the small side and needed to come out ASAP I had the knowledge to persuade my practice on an induction. Dani stayed with my husband and I all night into the following afternoon with encouraging words, massage to distract my brain from the discomfort/pain, counter pressure to relieve pain,  helped me keep up my energy and nutrition and focus on my breathing. She helped my husband learn what would be helpful. Having them tag team was crucial and such a life saver me during my long labor.

I ended up being able to have my vbac, my daughter's healthy and I can look back on the experience as a wonderful one, thanks to Dani with Divine doulas. Truly night and day from my precious experiences I highly recommend her, she was so immensely helpful, down to earth and reasonably priced.  Fear was truly replaced by peace when all was said and done.

Dani made our birthing experience complete! From about two months prior to our birth, Dani answered all of our questions and helped us work on our birth plan. She followed up with us regarding our care with our provider and all other aspects of the process. When our big day came, my husband and I were so thankful to have Dani present for our entire labor (24 hours! Yikes!). She had wonderful pain management techniques and encouraging methods. Dani made sure to help us walk through decisions we made as the day progressed. She was helpful and not judgemental, it was perfect. I can't imagine going through the process without her!

Dani was my doula for my second birth. After having an epidural with the birth of my first child, I really wanted to avoid that the second time around. Having Dani assist with my long 24-hour-labor was so helpful. Her wonderful back massaging helped me so much and also gave my husband a break!  I was able to avoid going to the hospital for several hours due to her support & encouragement. And I was able to avoid having an epidural.  She met with my husband and me three times prior to my due date to talk with us about our preferences, expectations and birth plan. She was prompt in arriving at our home when I went into labor, despite the fact it was the middle of the night. She coached me through contractions and reminded me that the birth experience is a natural process. But she also gave me space when I needed it. Dani is an excellent doula and I highly receommend her if you're considering a doula.

Dani was a god-send for the birth of my first child.  I don't know if I would have gone drug free without her there to coach, massage and guide me through my 9 hour labor.  She was kind yet firm and very knowledgeable about her trade.  I appriciated her visit to my home after the baby was born to make sure eveything was going well.  I would reocmmend Dani to friends and family.
