As the mother of six children, and grandmother of five, I have over 32 years of practical experience caring for mothers and their newborns. In addition to being a Certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist , I am also an experienced Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator and Gentle Sleep Consultant. I have been providing professional newborn care and postpartum mother's recovery care to families throughout the Metroplex for a decade. I enjoy the challenges of caring for new mothers and their newborns and find it especially rewarding to share the intricacies of newborn care with mothers and observe their successful transition into motherhood as they gain skill and confidence. Mother’s postpartum recovery care, breastfeeding support, postpartum mood disorders, comprehensive newborn care and feeding, infant massage, newborn soothing techniques, coping skills for new parents, infant safety and first aid, layette preparation and care, baby laundry, nursery organization, light meal preparation, grocery shopping and errands are all part of the services I provide. Additionally, I offer in-home consultations for routine development and gentle sleep training to enable healthy full-term babies to sleep twelve hours through the night by twelve weeks of age, if desired. I also offer in-home consultations for breastfeeding support and instruction. I have also acquired extensive experience caring for multiples and preemies and expertise in the management of infant reflux and GERD. References available upon request.

Donna was absolutely wonderful as we transitioned into parenthood, answering all our seemingly endless questions and helping for those first few weeks. She's also been a constant resource for us as our daughter has grown. Further, her routines helped us get our little one to sleep through the night after 4-5 months. It's a blessing! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Donna provided breastfeeding support when I was struggling with my 6 week old baby boy's tongue and lip ties. She offered emotional support and helpful tips over the phone and text message and was very accessible. She continued to follow up with us weeks and even months after our issues resolved. Very thankful for her help and highly recommend her services!

Donna was truly an angel sent from heaven to help with the birth of our grandchild! She arrived just hours before our grand daughter was born to support with the labor & delivery. I did not know what to expect, but she was better than I ever expected with the care of a newborn. We were lucky to have her here with us through Christmas and New Years and she was truly like one of the family! She had our baby girl sleeping 8 - 12 hours before she returned to her family. We highly recommend her.

She is a very caring, kind lady with a big heart who loves taking care of babies.

Donna was a life saver for my family. We were all clueless of how to take care of a baby and knew that we needed help. Donna stayed with us for two months and quickly got to know the needs of not just our baby, but our entire family. She is a quiet and gentle servant. We were able to get back on track with sleep and yet still feel involved in the details of our newborn. During my labr Donna was there to encourage me and offer an unbiased opinion of what she thought would be best for me and baby. She is authentic in her love for newborns and gifted at taking care of them. Do not hesitate to have her help you!

When our daughter went through a sleep regression around 5mo, we were at a loss of what to do, and we really didn't feel right letting our baby 'cry it out.' At the recommendation of a friend, we enlisted Donna's sleep-consult services, which turned out to be a huge blessing, worth every penny and more.

Starting with a long-distance phone consult, Donna was able to help tweak our practices and start us in the right direction for getting our happy, rested baby back.  More than just giving us standard advice for good sleep practices, she provided us with real, useful, in-the-moment techniques for helping our particular baby learn to sleep again. Baby was waking up all night long, and Donna gave us the tools to gently and lovingly train her not to.  When we returned home, Donna came to our house to physically help with the process of successful nap training as well.  It was all so helpful, and it really worked!  (Over time, and with patience, the way most great changes happen!)

Throughout the process, a few elements of Donna's character really stood out.  First, she was available.  Even as busy as she is, she always answered my calls, or returned (sometimes desperate, late-night) texts or emails very quickly. Second, she obviously cares about babies.  She was so sweet and loving with our daughter, I really trusted her. Finally, she really cares about her clients!  It's been several months since our first encounter, but Donna has kept in touch, and has always been available to answer questions and give advice as baby has moved through different sleep transitions.  She's been a fantastic ongoing resource.

In conclusion, my family thinks Donna is great, and we would recommend her services without hesitation to anyone in the market for a 'baby whisperer.'  If we have another, I'll be enlisting her help a LOT sooner!

Working with Donna was a wonderful experience. She was always on time, very trustworthy and wonderful with our daughter. She would come at nights because I was working full time. She helped us establish a routine and got Harper sleeping through the nights. She was willingly to do some of the baby's laundry and dishes. She was so quiet and never disturbed us unless Harper needed us. I can't recommend her enough. A wonderful experience. She has tons of helpful tips too!
