Stacy beleives in birth. Not only that, she believes in a womans ability to birth in the most natural way. Stacy was the support I needed in my pregnancy to be different and have the birth I wanted, not the birth others expected of me. She understands prevention instead of treatment, and was a wonderful companion to talk with throughout my pregnancy to deflect possibilities of issues arrising. Then, at the birth she was so quite, and always at my side, never once exuding fear or tension, just calm companionship. She used oils, supported my decisions, and helped me do things I needed to all without being too pushy, but just pushy enough. When my husband was breaking me heart taking a nap (ha!) she wrote him a note that got him to his feet where I needed him most. I think that moment characterized her help at my birth the most. Constant, quite and gentle and honest. As I gave birth I saw her confidence as she celebrated the birth of our son while still being the one on top of things, keeping me on track and making sure all was well. She helped me stay in a positive frame of mind, and keep the faith when I felt lost.

Having Stacy at my birth was a beautiful experience, I am forever grateful to have met her and to have had her capable hands assisting my son into the world.

Stacy's character and personality make her a stellar doula. When I decided to do an unassisted homebirth for my third child, she graciously offered her advice and experience in supporting me in my decision. She showed up right after the baby was born, just as I had wanted. Stacy helped me and my husband care for our newborn in a nonintrusive and very respectful way. It was like everything that needed to be done was getting done, but we hardly noticed her doing it. She was so thoughtful and intuitive in supporting our goals and our needs that I feel very fortunate that she was there for us and allowed us to share those first precious hours with our newborn son stress-free and relaxed. Her encyclopedic knowledge of various natural remedies made the post-birth period much more comfortable and healthy for me. I will definitely choose Stacy as a doula for our future birthes.

Stacy is an Amazing doula! I sincerely believe it is her calling in life, She was Meant to doula! Stacy was made for this!! During my labor of baby #3 in 2014, Stacy was completely in tune with me and what I needed at any given time. She could sense it. She had lots of useful knowlege and firstand birthing wisdom.

I was trying to cope with the disapointment of not getting the Homebirth I had wanted and instead I was having a hospital birth whitch i did not want. I was very hesitant and nervous about birthing anywhere but home. I felt Incerdibly welll supported and advocated for during the entire process, before labor, During labor, (Stacy knew my All Natual, No intervention birth plan, and helped the nurses stick too it,) as well as post-partum supposrt. Stacy took way better care of me post-partum than the Nurses did. She was there Every step of the way, a friendly face, a calming voice and a Loving spirit! Stacy's positivity and good energy was unhindered, and she definitely helped me Deal with my fear of being mistreated at the hospital, and helped me Birth the way I wanted, even if i was stuck at the hospital. She was an incredibly valuable member of my birth team, and if I have another child I will Most Definately hire her again.
