I am a graduate of the National College of Midwifery, Registered Nurse and Certified Professional Midwife. In addition to my training, I co-lead the local Birth Circle of Baltimore. We hold monthly meetings where we discuss birth related topics with moms, local birth professionals, and expecting families. We also hold several charity events throughout the year. I have rallied for the legalization of home birth with Maryland Families for Safe Birth for since 2012, as with Improving Birth to increase awareness of a woman's right to informed consent during birth. I stay up to date on the latest research, following the most recent updates from ACOG, Evidence Based Birth, and Cochrane Reviews, among others.

My husband and I are deeply thankful for the support we received from Paige. After our initial consultation, we had no doubts that we'd like to work with her. We then learned a great deal through our prenatal appointments and childbirth class. During my labor, Paige was diligent, compassionate and so very supportive. She made suggestions that I may or may not have felt right at the time, but never stopped offering support, kind and empowering words, or techniques to bring as much comfort as she could. We would recommend Paige to anyone desiring additional support! It made a tremendous difference in our experience.

We are so grateful that Paige was at our birth! She was wonderful throughout the entire process -- from the initial consulatation, the pre-natal visits and childbirth education class, the labor and delivery, and the post-partum visit. My husband and I credit Paige for my ability to have a vaginal delivery during what turned out to be a very complex induction. She was patient, helpful, respectful and attuned to my and my husband's needs throughout the process. I would recommend her without reservation.

After interviewing a couple doulas, my husband and I decided to hire Paige from Baltimore Birth Services. I couldn't have asked for better support. Paige was always there to answer my questions and listen when I had concerns. For the birth of my second son I was looking for someone to help me achieve an empowering labor and birth experience. That's exactly what I got with Paige.

Paige is an incredible doula! As a first time mom, it was wonderful and reassuring to have someone that has been through the process and also assisted with so many different birth scenarios. She was available for questions anytime and extremely open and honest with answers. She is totally genuine and caring and wants you to have the best birth experience possible and will help you in determining your ideal birth, making sure you understand all your options. For our birth, circumstances beyond everyone's control meant that Paige wasn't able to get to us for delivery (baby came surprisingly SUPER fast and my husband and I ended up delivering in the car on the way), but Paige got to us at the hospital as quickly as possible and stayed to make sure we were all settled and ok. Our postpartum visit a few days later was a check in to make sure home life was going well and we were all adjusting. Paige is so compassionate and caring - she truly wants what is best for your growing family. Paige also has a host of resources from pain management to breastfeeding to Mommy groups, not to mention a fantastic book lending library! I highly recommend Paige to be the one to guide your way through birth!! She is awesome!!!!

I cannot recommend Paige and Baltimore Birth Service more highly! After interviewing several doulas to support me during my VBAC birth, I chose Paige not only for her expertise and professionalism, but also for the passion she brings to her work. She is an incredible advocate who made it her focus to help me achieve the birth experience I desired. She helped to educate me throughout my pregnancy, was just the support I needed during my labor and delivery, and continues to be a source of strength during my postpartum period. I am certain that I would not have been able to achieve my goal of an unmedicated VBAC had she not been by my side to help me through. I will never regret my decision to hire Paige as my doula. She is pure perfection!

Paige is an amazing person and wonderful doula! She helped me throughout my entire pregnancy. I was going for a VBA2C (vaginal birth after 2 csections) and was super scared that i would fail and end up with another csection. Paige supported me 100% during my pregnancy with positive reinforcements and kept telling me my body could do it! During my labor Paige helped me fill my birth plan wishes and was my voice. She was perfect. It's also a super plus that Paige is a registered nurse! It really helped me for my VBA2C that Paige is a nurse. When i have my next baby, Paige will be my doula again. I would give her a million star rating if i could :) Thank you for all you do Paige <3

Having Paige as a doula was the wisest choice I made during the preparation for my home birth. She was an invaluable resource as I learned how to incorporate mindfulness, self care, and healthy eating into my lifestyle while preparing for our baby's arrival. She was always uplifting and encouraging, helping me to keep myself mentally prepared and helping me to believe in my body's ability to give birth. The Mother's Blessing that she planned for me helped me to envision a joyful and peaceful birth and left me with many affirmations that I kept in my mind throughout the end of my pregnancy. Thanks to Paige's incredible preparation, I was able to be calm and collected throughout my labor. After birth, she was incredibly present and supportive for both me and my children. She read books with my daughter and provided a loving atmosphere for my family. She was so helpful and supportive during her postpartum visit, where she checked in with me, held my baby while I showered, and played with my children so I could rest. In using Paige as a doula, I found not only a birth supporter, but someone who supported me in becoming exactly who I wanted to be as a wife, as a mom, and as a person. I highly recommend her services!

Having a doula was one of the most important decisions I made during my pregnancy. I know that without Paige supporting me throughout my pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum period things would have not been the same. It was so important to have that extra person on my team to support me and support my decision to have a natural hospital birth. Paige was always 100% on my side no matter what I decided and was always there to provide me with information to aide me in the decision making process. Paige was always on time, caring and supportive. I truly feel that she cares for me as a person not just as a client. Having Paige as my doula was worth every penny and more. Paige helped me greatly in battling my way through my unmediated labor and delivery and for that I am truly grateful. Now I know that I can do pretty much anything with the right support systems and her support, coaching and care made my birth experience possible. ??

Paige was an absolute Godsend to our family. From the very beginning, this pregnancy was a crazy whirlwind. What started as a planned home birth turned into a high risk induction at a hospital. It was a lot to take in for me after having a less than pleasant experience in a hospital with a previous birth. But Paige always sat and talked me through my fears and apprehensions. She made a very scary time in my life a much more enjoyable experience. And so much of what she taught me I plan to use in my daily life. She never felt like a hired professional. She felt like an old friend during such a huge part of my life. If we continue to expand our family in the future, she'll be one of the first to know when I find out we're expecting.

From the moment I contacted Paige she was kind, straight forward and professional. To ensure that a doula would be present she had a back-up which I thought little of until Paige was unable to attend the birth due to illness. Her back-up was wonderful too. Before labor, during labor and post labor Paige contacted me to check my progress, mental health and general wellbeing. My husband was unsure about the idea of hiring someone else to be at the birth but he went along with my choice. After the experience he said it was hands down the smartest decision we made and he was so thankful that I pushed to have a doula.

Paige was wonderful!  I don't know what we would have done without her.  I had labor on and off for several days, and she would come over at night and give my husband a break while I labored.  She provided much releif and comfort during a long labor.  During the labor at home, I developed preeclamsia, and she provided a lot of comfort that transferring to the hospital was definitely the right thing to do.  After an emergency c-section, Paige offered a lot of emotional support, as I was heartbroken I didn't get my home birth.  She called and checked on me several times, and even took me to a follow up appointment because my husband had to get back to work.  My husband and I were not originally going to use a doula, but we are so happy we decided to use Paige's services.  There is no way I could have lasted as long as I did without her support.  I highly recommend her services to anyone!  She is wonderful and as I said above, there is no way we could have labored so long without her support.
