There are so many wonderful things that I could say about Danica. She was one of the most valuable people on our “birthing team.”  Danica’s knowledge, experience and resources were extremely helpful in prepare for the birth of our first child. She listened to our desires, helped guide us through tough decisions and helped us gain access to various resources to ensure that our birthing and postpartum experience was everything we wanted it to be.  She was always avaible when I needed her. I feel like she is apart of our family now and I am extremely grateful that we found that such a great doula!

Mrs. Danica was my Doula the second time around when I was pregnant with my son last year 2017.  She was absolutely awesome. She was very supportive of my wishes to go completely natural and when I felt like i couldn’t continue to go natural anymore because of the pain, Mrs. Danica stayed positive and kept me lifted up. She kept letting me  know I could do it, along with my husband. She brought every and anything she thought would be helpful in laboring and help me Dialate. She stayed with me every step of the way during labor making sure I kept my breathing going. I would reccomend her to any family. Her services were beyond awesome. Thank You Mrs. Danica!

This is the second pregnancy I had the pleasure of having Mrs Danica as my doula! This was my fourth and last baby, and I couldn't see myself with anyone else but Mrs Danica as my doula. My 3rd pregnancy she was very attentive and helped me but because I had my daughter within 10 minutes of arriving at the hospital she missed her birth. This time I contacted her soon as I found out I was pregnant. She was there every step of the way. I consulted her for almost everything. I had a birth plan and when it was time to have my son (which she made it in time for!) she helped made sure everything was how I planned. She has this calm and soothing demeanor that made my delivery go smoothly. This was the best birth experience I had ever had. Everything from pregnancy care, postpartum care, lactation consultation and anything mom and baby, she is your person! I highly recommend Danica Davis!

Hi, I'm Charlecia Robinson and I wanted to share what a great experience I had with Mrs. Danica being my Doula, back in 2014/2015 when I was pregnant with my first child.  Me being a 0 tolerance for pain person, had planned in my head throughout my whole pregnancy, that I wanted to have a all natural birth no medicine what so ever.  My Mom and my fiancé at the time which is now my Husband said I was not going to be able to do that, and that I needed to get a epidural. Even my doctor knowing me said that he thinks I should get the epidural.  But I had my mind already made up and I was determined to have my baby natural, because I am a natural girl and absolutely dislike taking medication unless I absolutely have to.  Anyway I met Mrs. Danica through Birth Well Partners at the time and she was Awesome!!! She supported all my wishes of having my baby natural, she shared beneficial information with me, that made me even more excited and ready to have my baby all natural.  Mrs. Danica came over to my apartment throughout my pregnancy to see how I was doing and to make sure I had my birth plan and how I want things to be after delivery.  When I went into Labor, Mrs. Danica came right to the hospital not caring what time of day or not it was, and stayed there with different items to help me with labor, telling me different movements to do to help me dialate. She was Amazing and a very good coach! Lol. Coaching me through breathing and staying calm.  And every time someone I know is expecting and looking for a Doula.  I strongly recommend Mrs. Danica every single time. She is the absolute best.  And now I'm expecting again with my second child, and guess who's my Doula! The Best Doula in Town Mrs. Danica.  I want to thank you so much for being there for me, and being the best support that you could be for me and my family.

Danica Davis was such an amazing blessing during this high risk pregnancy and birthing journey. From the beginning to the very end, she was there with support and knowledge. She helped be realize that even with limiting circumstances that I had a voice. We walked out my birth plan as much as possible.
Because of her support, I was able to listen to my body and transition through the stages of labor smoothly. She was very responsive to my needs and was able to get my support team involved in the process, which was one of my goals.
Her encouraging voice and guidance during the strongest contractions helped me maintain my focus and stay on track. She was my advocate during my last attempt to birth naturally. My little one was not positioned well. Using the Rebozo techniques, we were able to shift baby in to the correct position. Feeling baby shift was amazing. Near the end of labor, my little one wasn't handling contractions well because the umbilical cord was wrapped around baby's neck. No one could have known this would happen. She was there to transition me and my support team for my caesarean. This was a possibility that I had prepared for mentally, but facing the reality of it was difficult. She stood by my side and told me that I could do it. I went into an unplanned caesarean with confidence. I had to have general anesthesia. My little one was still able to be skin to skin with a member of my support team. She made sure my desires were honored. My birth story was a success because of Danica.
Advocating for and assisting laboring mothers are Danica's calling and passion. From the OB visit she attended to my labor, her bold yet respectful demeanor truly impressed me. She was there to join my team of professionals not create tension for my doctors and nurses. She honored my natural alternatives and empowered me with evidence based knowledge. I would definitely recommend Danica as an exceptional doula.

I have been friends with Danica Davis for many years now.  She is a person that I am glad to say is a dear part of me and my daughter's life. I live in Alabama but came to California to visit my very pregnant daughter who was going into her 41st week of pregnancy. Although she was under a mid wife's care, I  was very concerned. I contacted Danica, she sent me valuable advice and told me what to expect during her induction. Not only was I able to advocate for my daughter during her babies birth, I was able to assist in the birth process. It was if I could hear Danica's calming voice coaching me. I  thank her very much for being a part of our lives. She is an amazing Doula with exceptional experience!

Danica was a wonderful doula! I was so blessed by her services. She supported me throughout the end of my pregnancy (I was almost 42 weeks) with advice and encouragement.  My labor ended up being 36 hours and she was amazing the entire time! My labor was very long and painful, but she always had a great idea of what to do next to help with my comfort and to help progress my labor.  She was not afraid to speak up at important times all the while being so respectful of me, my husband, my nurses and doctor.  I would recommend Danica to anyone seeking a doula for their birth. I had a successful VBAC and she was a huge part of that.  I can't thank her enough.

I love Mrs Danica! I was high risk in my pregnancy and from day one of our first meeting she was very attentive to my pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. Mrs. Danica's caring and loving demeanor helped ease any fear I had. Whenever I called she was there. Her techniques for a natural birth were everything from using the exercise ball to different positions to ease pelvic and back. I highly recommend this wonderful woman as your doula.
