I used Emily‘s placenta encapsulation services.  She was helpful in explaining the process and also delivered croissants along with my placenta pills.  I felt amazing during my postpartum recovery. Much more calm and centered than I did during my first pregnancy. I would recommend her services to anyone who is interested in placenta encapsulation.

My huband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Emily! When I first mentioned to my husband early in my pregnancy that I wanted a doula, he was a bit skeptical that one was needed. After going through labor and having Emily's support, knowldge, and comfort neither of us could imagine having another baby wihthout her! I was able to have a natural labor according to my birth plan and I attribute a lot of that to Emily who helped me navigate my labor and remain calm and focused on the end goal; my beautiful son.

I also had my placenta encapsulated through her and feel it has really helped keep me balanced in the days and weeks postpartum. We HIGHLY recommend Emily to anyone looking to have a supported birth experience!!

I'm so glad Emily worked with us as our doula. She has a wonderfully calm and reassuring presence and is very knowledgeable about child birth and the hospital experience. I loved chatting with her before our baby came and I loved her check-in emails with articles to read and other recommendations. During labor she was a great support and gave us recommendations on different techniques and positions to try. She helped us understand different options and make good choices in terms of pain management. She was also there to help with anything--if I needed a pillow adjusted she was there to help, when my mouth was dry she had a hard candy, when I felt nauseous she had peppermint drops. She was very prepared! But she was not overbearing or over-present--my husband was still my main support person but Emily just lightened his load so he could focus on holding my hand and cheering me on. After delivery Emily checked in and came to meet our little one a few weeks later. It was really great to chat with Emily after the birth and remininsce about the first few moments with our little one. Emily also has connections with other pre/post-natal service providers, so I appreciated her ability to give recommendations for people like accupuncturists and lactation consultants. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is I'm very glad Emily was there to support us on the wild ride that is pregnancy, labor & delivery, and the early post-partum time. I would highly recommend her!

Emily was a fantastic means of support for us before, during and after the birth of our daughter. She has an incredible 'bag of tricks' that were very useful during labor. When I went into labor I felt like our baby was malpositioned and Emily had a lot of great suggestions for positions to help encourage our baby to move into position. It wasn't easy but she was attentive and encouraging throughout. Emily was a great means of support for my very hospital-phobic husband as well. Postpartum, Emily followed up and helped with a few questions. We used her for both doula and encapsulation services and I can't imagine going through it all without her support.
