Childbirth Education Classes in Sanford

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation
This class helps you work with your body to get ready for the birth of your baby. Spinning Babies® approach adds more comfort in pregnancy and more ease in birth. Our body-centered approach can be used everyday in pregnancy, in early labor, and when helpful in active labor. After the stretches to let your muscles respond more easily there are birth positions to open your pelvis to let baby down lower in labor and while pushing. Practice these stretches just 15 or 30 minutes a day to grow trust with your innate abilities. You may find more calm and emotional resilience as well.
Cost: $150.00
Class meets Sunday May 3 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
This class meets once for 4 hours.

Calm Birth - Sundays
This comprehensive 5-week course focuses on strengthening your understanding of how the body works during labor, what to do and when during labor, working with your body, and the movements your baby needs to make during birth. This promotes a greater sense of confidence, joy, and smoother flowing labor. We cover, in detail, “must need to know’s” before, during, and after labor to set you up for the best possible start with your precious little one! Followup notes are provided after each lesson.
