Breastfeeding is a natural design, but it is also a learned skill for both you and your baby. This class is created to quiet the "what-ifs" around supply and latch before your baby arrives, replacing feeding anxiety with a deep trust in your body’s ability to nourish. We begin by exploring the "Golden Hour," discussing why the first hour after birth is so vital and how to maximize the benefits of skin-to-skin contact. To ensure a peaceful start, you will receive step-by-step guidance on the art of the latch, focusing on positioning that is comfortable for you both. We also teach you to "read" your baby by identifying subtle hunger cues before the crying starts, keeping feeding a calm, bonding experience. You will walk away understanding your biological blueprint for milk supply and how to troubleshoot early hurdles like soreness or engorgement with confidence.
