Jenny was recommeded to us by our Bradley instructor along with a few other doulas. After interviewing Jenny, however, I knew she was the doula we needed to hire. :) She is so warm and caring and a genuine pleasure to be around. My birth was long and hard and I am so happy that Jenny was there to help my husband and I through it. When my back labor got worse and worse and there was still no progression after 68 hours of constant contractions, she helped me through my fear of interventions and empowered me to make the best decision for my baby and myself. My daughter was born struggling to breath and was taken immediately to NICU...this would have been terrifying to any mother facing this moment, but Jenny sat by my side while my husband was with our little girl. Everyone has asked me if I was a nervous wreck during the hour away from my Eliza...I can honestly say Jenny's presence was what helped give me strength and trust in the doctors and nurses and gave me the ability to just take a breath and try to relax. My birth experience wasn't at all what I imagined, however, Jenny really made a rough experience a truly beautiful and momentous one. We will definitely be hiring her again with our next baby!

Our experience with Jenny as our Doula was nothing short of wonderful! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a more natural birth experience or to attend her birth classes. We enjoyed her company and she is a great teacher. She helped me give birth vaginally to a 10lb. 4 oz. baby!!! For that, she will always have a special place in my heart. We love you Jenny!

We had the honor of having Jenny as our Doula for the birth of our first child just 2 months ago. We met Jenny through our Bradley Classes and instantly felt a connection with her. She is such a warm and caring person and I can't imagine anyone not finding that same connect and feeling of comfort with her. Our plan was to have as natural a child birth as possible and Jenny was supportive all the way. The night we went into labor Jenny was there by our side. My husband and I had recently moved to Phoenix and all our family and support system are back in NY. Therefore Jenny was a close to family as we had. And she welcomed that role with open arms. She helped me to remain as calm and comfortable as possible during each contraction. She rubbed my feet, reminded me of my breathing and just let me be silent or alone if I needed to. She played such an important part in our experience. She and my husband together offered me kindness and encouragement during times that I was ready to give up. And after a very long and intense labor she was still right there by my side offering an energetic and kind thought about my baby and the experience to help me through the pushing stages. A wonderful blessing she was also able to provide was taking photos during the birth. Because it was just my husband and I there we would have never of had the amazing photos that we got without her. They capture so many touching moments that I can never thank her enough for taking. They are forever going to remind of the special journey she helped us through.

To all those researching Doulas you should look no further.Jenny is a knowledgeable and kind woman who knows how to make a mom and partner feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a special and calm birthing experience. We cannot thank Jenny enough for the memories she made for us. We love you Jenny! -The Ketcham Family (Tara, Jack and Baby Jack Jr!

Some people think having a doula at your birth is "just an extra"  it is not for us.  Jenny has attended both of my births and when we have more children we will hire her again.  Best money we have ever spent!  SHe is just wonderful!

Jenny was an absolute godsend during the birth of my baby girl 2 months ago.  This was my 3rd baby, and my first one unmedicated.  After I had my first baby, I was determined to have my second baby unmedicated.  I was foolish enough to think that I could do it without any support (I had thought about hiring a doula, but because of the cost I didn't...I realized after getting the bills from the hospital that the epidural cost almost as much as a doula would have cost).  I made it to 7 centimeters (transition) and gave in to the pain and got an epidural.  My husband just didn't know what to do to help me get through the pain.  I wasn't going to let that happen again, so with my 3rd baby, I decided to hire a doula so that I could have the unmedicated birth I had been wanting to have.   My labor went very quickly, so when she got to the hospital I was already in transition.  She came in and immediately started caring for me.  She gave me the words of encouragement I needed when I needed them.  She told me to relax when she saw I was really tense (and in the middle of labor, I actually did need someone telling me all of this).  She kept me hydrated by giving me sips of water between contractions, basically read my mind and knew exactly what I needed, and once again gave me constant words of encouragement that I needed during the unmedicated birth of my baby.  I don't think I could have done it without Jenny there.  She was awesome and I highly recommend her.  Not only was she great during the birth, but the visits before and after my baby's birth were great as well.  The postpardum visit is great.  She will come to your house for 4 hours and do whatever you need help with.  Thanks Jenny for being a part of this very special time in my life.  You were awesome!
