I want to start by saying that we could not have had the birth that we envisioned had it not been for Chandra! She was such a comfort and gave such loving support to both my husband and me during the whole process! Chandra met with us in the morning as the contractions started, checked in with us throughout the day, came to our house as things progressed, and of course went with us to the hospital. She was so calm and encouraging. She asked clarifying questions and was a great advocate for us with the hospital staff. Chandra was a coach with a gentle touch, offering suggestions for easing the pain of the contractions through different laboring positions. She was very comfortable in the situation due to her own personal experiences and we were more than happy to lean on her for advice.
