Client Testimonials for Kate Gordon
Deb Alterman
We were very nervous about how our cat would do with a new baby in the house. She (the cat) has always had trouble sharing and took years to adapt to sharing the house with another cat, frequently taking out her aggression with hissing and chasing. Kate came over and put our mind at ease. She went through the house with us, helping to identify places the cat would feel safe. Kate talked about ways to help the cat adapt to the huge change about to happen. When the baby arrived, there were no problems and the cat even took a friendly interest in her. 18 months later, our daughter loves the cat and the cat loves being able to escape to a happy place when a toddler comes running toward her with a little too much love.

Kate was a total lifesaver to me after the birth of my son!! She is the epitome of what new mamas need in those weeks/months following the birth of their child...
she knows all about babies, partially from being a mom herself so she "gets it"
she is an amazing cook and took it upon herself to make us a bunch of delicious food and freeze it
she washed and folded laundry, did the dishes, watered plants, went grocery shopping, and even walked the dog (oh, did I mention that she's an animal trainer and amazing with pets?)
she encouraged me to nap and took care of everything around the house (see above) while I rested and took care of my son
I just can't say enough about how amazing it was having her here... you won't find a more committed, amazing doula than Kate!

Kate Gordon provided meal service for my family as one child was recovering from major surgery and we needed a little extra TLC during this stressful time. The food Kate provided was heathly, tasty, appealing to all members of my family and she delivered it on time and as stated. It was so helpful to know that my family would be eating healthy food (whole wheat noodles that were so yummy) and everything we needed to make the meal a success was included, from soup to nuts! (well, salad to dessert!) I know as a postpartum doula and meal prep service, your family would be lucky to have the good nutrition and nurturing care that Kate provides to each family she works with! You will not be sorry! Kate will help make the transition with the new baby easier and smoother than you thought possible!
