Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

I volunteer for the BIRTH fair each year. I assist in crisis pregnancies including teens, pregnancy after loss, pregnancy after prior birth trauma, and those expecting preterm delivery or stillbirth/neonatal death. I work extensively with moms who have had one or more prior cesareans. I am accepting donations for scholarships for teens and women with crisis pregnancies or planning adoption. I also have extensive experience working with adults and children on the autism spectrum, which can be helpful working as a doula with ASD families. I am very involved in ICAN.

Angela Fagg

Sarah attended my Hospital VBAC in September, 2011.  She was an extremely valuable component of my birth!

When things did not go as planned due to circumstances beyond our control (I had cervical scar tissue which caused slow/stalled dilation at times), she remained strong and supportive for both me and daddy.  I ended up requesting an epidural after nearly 30 hours of labor so I could get some much needed rest, and during the time I was "out of it," she was able to calm and educate daddy, which was much needed.

I am now utilizing Sarah for my planned Birth Center VBAC in December, and couldn't be more pleased.
