Attends hospital births? All Hospitals I attend births at all local hospitals. In my 10 years of practice I have developed positive relationships with providers and the nursing staff at our local hospitals. In addition to my doula role my experience can aid us in requesting (often by name) a nurse who is supportive and excited about helping you achieve your birthing goals. Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers Attends home births? Any Home Birth I attend midwife assisted homebirths in the Tucson area.
I would definitely recommend Angela as a doula to moms/parents interested in doula services. Angela knows a ton about childbirth and understands how to support the parents during such a lively time. In my experience as a first time mom, I appreciated Angela's support and guidance. She does a great job.

I am so grateful to have had Angela for my Doula for both of my sons' births. I had always planned on a natural child birth with my first. Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned and I ended up with a cesarean. Having had Angela every step of the way was truly empowering. I felt well prepared and well informed when making decisions. I know when births don't go as planned it often causes trauma for the mother feeling she made poor decisions. Having a walking talking birth encyclopedia as a major part of my birth support team helped me feel confident that I was making good decisions based on my needs and wishes and not pressured by others. When pregnant again Angela was the first person I called. My priorities had changed from my first birth but I knew I would still want her help to navigate through the decisions I had to make and again to use her expertise to help me understand and sort through things I had questions about. She a wonderful woman and I feel blessed to have had her support during my pregancies.
