Client Testimonials for Heather Morgan

I was so happy to have Heather as a Doula at my daughter's first labor. Heather was confident about the ideas she gave to help my daughter through her contractions. She was incredibly helpful and supportive of our situation. Her focus was on my daughter at all times even in the early hours of the morning when everyone else was worn out, Heather stayed strong and was there for my daughter's needs. As the mother of the person in labor, I never felt like I was in the way. Instead Heather worked with me and made me feel like I was an important part of the labor process too. We worked as a team and she coached me on how to help my daughter. It was a wonderful and meaningful experience for everyone. Heather has a heart to help mother's have the best birthing experience possible!

Heather makes a great Doula because of her sweet, kind personality. Not only that, but she genuinely cares about mothers in labor and making sure they have the birth that has always been in their mind. I was a little unsure about having a Doula at my birth. I felt it would make things too crowded, and I had a complicated situation that I didn't want to involve another person in. Heather came over to my house for our first meeting and by the time she left, I knew I wanted Heather to be there because she let me know how much she cared about me and my unborn baby girl. She was so supportive of my situation and just wanted to know what she could do to give me my ideal birth experience. I really felt like I could trust her and give her everything. Once I started going into labor, from the minute she walked in the door, no time was wasted. She was ready to do whatever possible to comfort me and when she felt I was ready, she followed me to my birthing center. Heather never left my side. Thankfully I had my family there but I'm so thankful for Heather. I was in labor for almost two days. In the middle of the night, when my family needed to rest, I would look over and see Heather right by my side, ready to take my hand. During the most difficult moments, Heather was by my side, rubbing my back, holding my hand, giving me encouraging words, going above and beyond. I searched for those things during contractions and she never failed to give them. I cant say enough great things about her, other than I am just so thankful she was there for me and I really couldn't have done it without her.

Heather was a wonderful doula! She was a great support and source of knowledge not only during labor, but during pregnancy and after the birth. She was able to give me the information and reassurance that helped me understand many of the changes that were taking place. During labor, Heather helped stay me motivated, comfortable and in the positions that encouraged the baby to drop faster. She also created an atmosphere that brought my husband and I closer together.
Heather is very trusting, friendly and easy to be around. My husband and I are so grateful for her help.
