If I had to choose one word to describe my experience with Karli, it would be "enlightening." She opened my eyes with unlimited resources to help me make informed decisions about my birth choices as well as postpartum information. She offered me helpful advice about cloth diapering, placenta encapsulation, birthing breating techniques, baby carriers and so much more. Before my birth, I was blessed with a wonderful doula. During and after, I was blessed with a friend. Karli arrived at my home birth when I asked her to, and she stayed by mine and my husband's sides thoughout. She helped me to manage my seemingly unending contractons, and helped my husband not to lose his cool when he wasn't sure what to do. I'm so very happy with my experience with Karli and if and when we decide to have another baby, Karli will be first on my list of birth essentials!

You will not regret choosing Karli as your doula. She was super supportive of my naturals ways, not having an epidural and choosing not to vaccinate my baby. She gave me helpful information and endless blogs and websites to do research on the options I was considering. Karli is loving, caring, and very hands on. My husband works crazy hours in the oilfield and I am in North Dakota with no family and one day I went into "false labor" at the time I thought I was in labor and alone, Karli came to my rescue right away,

she went to the doctor with me and even after finding out I was in false labor she was still by my side to be there and help me every step of the way. During the labor and delivery of my daughter Karli was there to help my husband and guide him in the things he could do for me and for himself to make this the best and most amazing experience ever. Both my husband and I could agree that having Karli as our doula was the best choice we could have made. We were both more then satisfied with her services. (My mother who also attended our birth fell in love with her and has more then nice things to say about her!)

I had a wonderful birthing experience with Karli.  I first met her when she came to my home for a doula meeting with Crysta and I instantly felt comfortable around her.  She provided me with lots of information about things I had not even considered yet and gave me websites so that I could look further into the topics I was interested in.  Karli was with me during my entire labor and delivery.  She was such a great help as she massaged my feet and calves during and after each contraction.  By her doing this I was able to focus less on the pain that came with each contraction and more on my breathing and relaxing.  Her words were soft and comforting and her presence made the room a more comfortable environment.  I did get an epidural, but the way my labor went I am sure that I could have gone without one because of the support of my doulas.  My husband was with us as well, but he does not do good with me in pain, and by having Karli there for the extra support was wonderful!  I was lucky enough to have both Karli and Crysta with me during my labor and delivery and would not change anything about it.  If we decide to have another baby I know I will be contacting these women again because they were amazing!

At my first meeting I felt so comfortable with Karli, I felt like I had known her for years and we were friends just catching up lost time. I thought that meeting her once and then having her attend my birth would be it, but it was so much more than that. Anytime I wanted information or had a question Karli was there with the answer, and with so much depth so that I actually understood everthing in great detail. She checked in with me every step of the way and made me so excited about labor and birth instead of my usual nervous and scared feelings. Everytime I would have one of those" bad" pregnant days, I just had to check out the cyber doula page to see Karli's postings because every posting was posted with so much excitement and enthusiasm, it made me forget about the bad feelings and focus on all the positive. I was amazed at the time Karli spent with me practicing different labor positions and also that we were always going over my birth plan so that she had every detail down to a T of what I wanted. The day I went into labor, I was still a little curious at how Karli's role would come into play, but I can say this with my whole heart, I was truly blessed to have Karli by my side. The hospital was pushy with what they wanted and if I hadn't of had Karli there I wouldn't have been able to experience my birth in any other way than what the hospital wanted. She was my voice to the hospital every step of the way, making sure that what I wanted I got, but always making sure it was the right and healthy choice for me. My labor and delivery was more intense than what I had hoped it would be, but even with all the surprises Karli made it so special and something that I will always remember in such a positive way. Thank you Karli for all the wonderful memories you have brought my family and I, my only regret is that I hadn't have met you sooner to have this experience with my first two!

Karli was very helpful and hands-on as my doula. She was always available to me when I needed information and had questions. Karli found information for me on pain management, birthing options, and labor positions. Karli spent time with me while I was in labor, making me feel comfortable and supported. Having Karli in my delivery room made my labor a more positive experience. My husband was skeptical about doulas when I first told him I was going to be using them, but after our daughter was born, he was very grateful for their help and support. I would recommend Karli as a doula. She is very approachable and sweet!
