Client Testimonials for Tiffany Tice
Dan and Emily Tripp
Tiffany is one of the better people we have ever met. From the initial consultations, to the hospital, and following up several times after we returned home, Tiffany always made us and our baby the focus. We had spent months preparing for a natural childbirth using the Bradley Method, and unfortunately had the walls come crashing down when complications arose. Tiffany not only stayed calm and collected, she was able to keep us calm and collected through what was a very trying time. After an extremely long day, Tiffany’s job was done and she could have gone home, but instead she drove all the way up to Ankeny and back to the hospital to secure some donor breast milk as Mom was unable to feed. Then she showed back up at the hospital the next day to check on Mom and baby’s progress, and also had much advice for Dad on things he could do to help. Tiffany helped to turn what could have been horrible memories into an event that has brought our family closer together than it has ever been. We cannot recommend Tiffany strongly enough if you are looking for a Doula.

We had an excellent experience with Tiffany. We met twice before our son was born. She was a good listener to our hopes for the birthing experience and open to our questions/concerns. She has a caring, but calming presence which was important to us.
During the actual birth, Tiffany helped me to labor at home before going to the hospital. She gave me tips on how to breathe effectively through the contractions and supported me with my choice of positions during the contractions, sometimes massaging me or helping with pressure points. I felt more confident having Tiffany around.
At the hospital, Tiffany was there in the delivery room. Seeing that I had the support I needed from my husband, midwife, and nurses, she was fairly quiet. However, she did help my husband, who had skipped lunch and dinner and was feeling quite hungry. She saw that he looked a bit pale and left to bring him food so that he could continue to help me through delivery.
Tiffany stayed for a bit after delivery and returned to our house during my first week of postpartum time to answer any questions or concerns that we had. She recommended a good book for us to help with our questions on working with our son in the middle of the night.

From our first meeting I felt extremely comfortable with Tiffany. It wasn't just the detailed conversations of our birth plan that she paid close attention too but it was the overall warmth and desire to be involved with what ever level of assistance we needed. Tiffany was extremely professional kind and compasionate before during and after the healthy delivery of our boy Jonah. Tiffany has good boundaries and a keen awareness of where to position herself during the birth and was an absolute advocate for us in the hospital. We could not have done this without her!
Thanks Tiffany!

Having Tiffany attend the birth of our daughter was a huge blessing! After laboring at home for a while, we gave her a call and she came right away and was a great help. She was very calming and soothing and had great suggestions for exercises to get the baby moved down and to keep me relaxed. Additionally, she was willing to help out with anything - get me cold wash cloths, a snack, a drink of water, you name it. She was great at the hospital as well, still helping out where needed, giving suggestions and keeping me calm. She was also encouraging the whole time, letting me know I was doing well and the baby was coming. I would highly recommend Tiffany - she was very knowledgeable, calming and encouraging and helped make our birth experience a great one!

How do I detail what Tiff did for me in such a limited space? Or in words for that matter? Tiff guided me through a life transition that I knew nothing about, and I was able to come out the other side acftually feeling ready and excited for what we were getting into thanks to her. Tiff does not judge, and adapts the experience to the person she's working with while keeping the information genuine and of high quality. (Seriously, I am a person who doesn't hug/touch people, still don't, but my breastfeeding education and comfort with other mommy-touchy stuff is so good my other pregnant friends are coming to me for help!).Tiff is also supportibe despite the twists and turns that might come up throughout the process, my birth did not go as planned, and rather than focus on the course it took, she immediately adjusted to the different supports and information that was needed. I would highly reccomend her, she truly has a niche with this work in a special way and I'm grateful to have gotten to work with her!! I have learned/continue to learn so much from her!!
