Client Testimonials for Bobbie Avery
Kim Bonvechio
During my pregnancy, I met with Bobbie on at least three separate occasions - including once with my husband present - to discuss my past experiences, attitudes, and goals for the birth of my second child. I immediately felt very comfortable with her, given her extensive background as a doula and her naturally nurturing spirit. She helped to guide me throughout my pregnancy and prepare me (and my husband) for our ideal birthing experience. Unfortunately, as often happens in life, things did not go as planned. The baby was 11 days overdue, so I was induced, much to Bobbie's disappointment. Still, she was a tremendous support that day, from counseling me on my choices, advocating on my behalf when needed (based on my birth plan and our many discussions), and most importantly providing support and guidance for husband. I had excruciating back labor, so her guidance and support for me - and almost just as important for my husband - were incredibly helpful. I feel blessed to have had Bobbie guide me throughout my pregnancy and my labor. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
