Sara helped us when our twin boys were about 2-3 weeks old. We were having a hard time figuring out their feeding schedule. She taught us how to feed them at the same time and keep them on a schedule. She has such a calming personality and I felt so comfortable with her. I highly recommend her.

Sara is the Michael Jordan of doulas!  She's such a beautiful soul and I was lucky to have her energy and care during my pregnancy and delivery. She was informative, supportive, encouraging, and everything that I needed in a doula. I'm not even sure that she's real because she was just that amazing! She's supported two of my deliveries and if I have a third, I won't settle for anyone else.

Sara was a breath of fresh air. I'm a first time mom and needed some extra help making sure our little one was on the right track. Sara came to our house and we talked about our little ones formula we had been giving him. She could tell he needed to be on a more specialized formula and that if I wanted to could try to relactate. We did both! Our little one is doing so much better. Sara was so sweet and kind. She also didn't mind our pup running around the house. She gave us so many tips. Even ones that were better then what our pediatrician had recommended. I highly recommend hiring Sara, you'll get more then just a good night sleep but tons of info. She's super knowledgeable.

Sara is the absolute best! Her calming presence helped us as new parents tremendously. We gained so much confidence as she helped us navigate the first month with our baby girl. We also got precious sleep while she was with us which enabled us to take on the next day refreshed. The main reason why I was able to get good sleep as a new mom was because I trusted Sara with my baby. She is also hands down the reason why my breastfeeding journey has been so successful. She always answered our questions with grace and patience. We learned so much from her and she made us feel very comfortable. Having a postpartum doula was a great choice for us, but hiring Sara was what made the experience magical!

Sara was a valuable resource both physically and emotionally in my early postpartum period. She came to help with my newborn son two weeks postpartum when I was physically exhausted from the sleepless nights and also suffering a bit from PPD and anxiety . She is so calm, tender and takes care of you and the baby . You need that female care and energy in your postpartum period, especially in my situation with no family around. She is very nurturing and extremely profesional and very dedicated to her craft. I will recommend her for postpartum care with no doubt.

I had the honor of having Sara attend both of my labors. This woman is the Michael Jordan of doulas! She is so warm and knowledgeable, but most importantamtly, she adores what she does. She helped me get back on track when my anxiety started to creep in and her breathing technique eased my pain. She reminded me that I was capable and deserving of a beautiful labor. She empowered me! Sara is like the sister you never had, but always dreamed of having. She is everything! Hell, Sara for President 2020!

Sara was amazing! It was great to have someone we trusted to watch our newborn while we were able to get some sleep. We felt very comfortable with Sara, and she took great care of our baby. She was also helpful with any questions we had, and helped us to set up a sleep routine for baby. Would highly recommend Sara!

Sara is a wonderful, warm, and caring person. She cared for my newborn son when I was  having a very hard time with a postpartum anxiety disorder and saw us through some hard times, and she was ultimately there to rejoice when things got better. She was loving, kind, and non-judgmental through the whole process. She was also super-sweet with our older child. I cannot recommend her services any more highly.

Inviting Sara to help with the birth of our son was absolutely one of the best decisions we ever could have made. I knew even before I got pregnant that it was very important to me to deliver naturally and that I wanted to do everything in my power to make that happen.
The first time we met Sara it felt so comfortable, like we had known her forever. She is so calm, reassuring, and knowledgable. She talked us through all of our options and helped us feel prepared for what we would face at the hospital. She was so patient and supportive during my (very long) labor and helped me to feel confident and strong throughout the entire process. She even grabbed our video camera to film those beautiful first moments that we first met our baby which is something I will be forever grateful for. I can't imagine what it would have been like if Sara wasn't there to support my husband and I during the birth of our first baby. There is no doubt in my mind that Sara will be with us for the births of all of our children.
Thank you so much Sara! We love you!

When I got pregnant with my second child I started considering hiring a Doula but to be honest I didn’t think it would be such a significant decision and boy was I wrong. My husband and I knew that we wanted a natural and unmedicated birth experience and we wanted a Doula that would help us not only with the labor but also support us every step of the way. I feel very lucky to have found Sara, she is a very caring, professional and supportive Doula. We met with Sara a few times before the birth, where we got to know her and told her what was important to us for this birth experience. During the last weeks of my pregnancy when things started to get stressed due to the baby being late and the threat of induction she was always available to talk, to listen to my concerns and offer advice and information so that my husband and I could make informed decisions. She was with us during a very intense labor, she coached me through the times when I didn’t think I could keep going, she was great at helping with the horrible back labor. Thankfully I was able to have my daughter without medications and I know I would not have being able to do it with Sara’s support and help. I highly recommend Sara, if I had another child I would gladly have her as my Doula again!

Sara was such a great support for both of my labors. My first was an emergency c section and she was very supportive and informative. She was making me feel very comfortable and massaging me while my husband was able to take a quick nap. For my second labor, it was my make up labor, and Sara was a big part of it. She was always so quick to respond to all my texts and had great answers to my questions. She made me feel so confortable going into both of my births and I will always cherish those times with her. I highly recommend her as your doula.

Saraa has the patience of a saint! She's been SO supportive throughout my entire pregnancy, but even more so in the last few days as my body is working so hard to labor, and miss Stella is working hard to stay put.

I've had several "THIS IS IT, LETS GO" contractions in the last few days and she has stood by my side the entire time rubbing my back as I breathe through unbearable contractions, squeezing my hips while I squat in pain, and reminding me to keep breathing when I'm clearly wanting to give up and hold my breath.

Thankful for an amazing friend like Sara and I hope more mamas get to have Sara by their side as they embark the most incredible journey into motherhood!

We are first time parents and hired Sara as our doula to help with the birth. She has been professional, responsive, and warm the entire time. She is incredibly calming, which helped ease my fears before the labor and during. She was a great support to my husband during the labor, helping him know how to help me. She also prepped us for what was coming up next in the labor, giving us more time to think about the next decision and feel comfortable that we were not rushed into making a decision. She has been responsive for every question and very helpful. I highly recommend her!

I know this is late and long overdue! I truly appreciate the work Sara provided for us when it came time to delievering our first born baby girl, Harper. We tried for 2.5 years through many different fertility treatments to have our bundle of joy. It wasnt until December of 2012 that our second IVF treatment did we know we would have the best experience of our lives!Once we found out we were pregnant we focused on making sure we stayed pregnant and everything went smoothly. We forgot to think about our birth plan like so many forget. We were busy figuring out names, color of her room, and what car seat we would bring her in. It wasn't until a couple months before she was born did we sit down and think about how we wanted to give birth.  Like a ton of bricks we realized we were uneducated and didn't know a thing about birth except for what was engrained in our minds from watching many tv and movies. So after reading books and watching independent movies we realized it was all backwards. We wanted what was best for our family and our little girl. With literally a month out we contacted Sara and she was able to meet with us within that week of contact with her. She stayed in contact with us the entire time incase we needed to change anything and we sat down and talked about what we wanted. Very quickly we knew what we wanted. Our minds wanted to have a birth at home or birthing facility other than a hospital but with only a month out until my due date many of the places we called were not taking such new clients that close. When the time came for our daughter to be born Sara went above and beyond the call of duty! She was their for us as soon as we called her and she was walking the neighborhood with us making sure I would breathe and my wife Sarah would be calm. Once we went to the hospital Sara made sure everything went smoothly all while making sure my needs were being met.I just want to say one thing and that is Sara is amazing and worth it! We love her!

Sara was our night doula for the first 7 weeks after our baby girl was born.

Having Sara be part of our family 3 nights a week was a wonderful experience for everyone!

Mom got some much needed rest knowing our newborn was in good hands.

Sara is a warm, loving, calm person who clearly chose the right profession :-)

She is very experienced and knowledgeable. No matter how you approach caring for your newborn Sara is supportive and has great advice.

Sara not only made sure baby was well taken care of but also offered advice about breastfeeding and several other questions that come to a moms mind after baby is born!

I felt totally at ease having her at our house. She provided comfort and great care in a very hectic time.

I highly recommend Sara!!

Sara from Warm Hands Birth Services was my doula for the November 2012 birth of my first daughter. Sara was a great support during my prenatal, birth, and postpartum. She supported me and my husband while I labored at home then accompanied us to the hospital. At the hospital she was my voice when I did not have one, she did a wonderful job ensuring that I knew all of my options when making any decisions, no matter how big or small. Sara also ensured that my husband and parents were kept in the loop. Because of Sara’s support and knowledge I had the natural unmediated I wanted. Sara also took my placenta home with her form the hospital and encapsulated it. Sara brought me my placenta and helped me with breastfeeding. I highly recommend Sara for any doula services.
