Client Testimonials for Jenny Stevens
Anaí Ribeiro
My daughter Isabella was born in Dec. 06 2011. My husband and I were luck enough to have Jenny with us!! I had the opportunity to enjoy every minute of my delivery because she was next to me supporting us, encouraging me and most important, since the very beginning she respected every aspect of our decisions. Jenny was a person who gave us lots of informations, so we were able to make better decisions, and she was always there for us, before, during and after the big moment!! Part of the perfection that was my daughter's arrival was because Jenny was there!! I can't imagine myself doing all that without her. She is a wonderful professional, but my higth recommendation of her service, most of all, is because of the wonderful person who she is!! Thanks forever Jenny, you became part of our lives!!!

I would highly recommend Jenny Stevens as a Doula. I interviewed several people and the first thing that stood out to me about Jenny was her calming presence. As this was my first birth, this was exactly what I needed. The night I went into labor I suspected something was happening. I talked with Jenny on the phone and we made a plan of what to do if I went into labor that night. She was over at our house early the next morning helping me labor at home. The little things she knew to do to assist me and to support my husband made a big difference. It was such a reassurance for both of us having her here. She helped guide our decision of when to leave for the hospital and we arrived at just the right time for us. I would not have been able to stick to my birth plan had it not been for Jenny. Even with using a midwife, it was Jenny's personal birth experiences and gentle guidance that allowed me to give birth to my 9 lb. 7 oz. baby without any drugs. Jenny took lots of pictures that are priceless to me. At the time I was not even aware she was taking most of them. Jenny met with me after the birth of my son and listened and offered her support as I cried about the challenges of being a new mom. She helped me with breastfeeding suggestions and she checked in on me several times after our postpartum meeting. Jenny is very knowledgeable about birth and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Doula.

We hired Jenny for the birth of our first child. We had wanted a natural, un-medicated birth, and I felt strongly that in order to achieve this I would need the support of an experienced mother and doula. We interviewed several doulas but knew after speaking with Jenny she was the perfect person for the job. Her personal experience and calm demeanor were key attributes that appealed to us.
Jenny showed us that she was compassionate, reliable, faithful, encouraging, kind and unobtrusive. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.
