April was a God send! It's hard to express in words how thankful I am to have had April as my Doula! I immediately felt a sweet connection when we met. She just has that warm and inviting personality! I find myself wishing I could go back and do it all again even though I had a tough labor. When we got to the hospital, I was so thankful to see her there with open arms. She was there to bring me comfort every step of the way. I truly believe she helped me relax enough for my water to break naturally! This was my first baby and I did not know what to expect. April helped prepare me for labor and delivery, and she's also a massage therapist so she gave a prenatal massage which was the cherry on top!!

April made me so comfortable. She is like your cool big sister that you look forward to seeing. She knew intuitively when to jump in and comfort. This was great because I'm the type of person that doesn't always know how to ask for what I need. The day of my delivery I was almost sent home and insecure as to whether I should have April come. She stayed in the area just for me and showed up right when I needed her which ended up being so soon. I'm glad she stayed close by. Also, her prenatal massage (included with package) was LIFE CHANGING. I almost went into labor that day because I got so relaxed. All around, she is a wonderful person and doula. My birth experience with April as my doula, was one of the best experiences of my life. It would have felt impossible to go through my drug free labor and delivery without her by my side. I remember at one point she offered to step out to give me space, and I asked her to stay. 

Not only did April provide a wonderful calm enviroment during my labor (she placed candles and words of affirmation around the room) but she also provided support and education prior to my delivery. She truly cares about your birth plan and will do whatever she can to support your wishes.

April was my doula for my last child, but I would use her again in a heartbeat if I had any more children!

April is the best! She was my doula for my first birth and we have hired her for our second as well. She quickly felt like part of the family!! She is thoughtful and caring and she's always sending me good information! Most importantly, she is incredibly supportive of any and all choices you make regarding pregnancy and birth! Not to mention her massages are wonderful!! I will have her at every birth I have!
