At Beyond the Bump CIncy one doula will visit your family for 4 hours between 8a.m.-6p.m. M-F during the first 12 weeks. We offer non-medical support for emotional and physical recovery after birth as well as infant care education with evidence-based research. We have an extensive list of resources in the Cincinnati area for help and information beyond what we offer. We also support sibling adjustment and household organization- tidying up, meal prep, and laundry.

I call Janet and Barb my fairy godmothers. They were immensely helpful in the 12 weeks after my daughter was born. They were there to help with the baby, thus freeing me up to shower, eat, and take breaks. They cooked, baked, tidied up, and did a bunch of stuff around the house that I would ordinarily be doing if I had the time. It was like having an extra me, and it was the difference between those weeks being manageable and me drowning. They were full of wisdom and resources and were perpetually positivite and validating.
