Client Testimonials for Tracie Beckstrom
Shelly Jasperson
Tracie was an incredible help not only during the labor and birth process, but the months before birth as well. She taught me new options that would ease my labor and delivery and calmed my fears. My first birth was difficult and complicated in the hospital, where after over 3 hours of pushing, the doctors didn't know what to do. When my baby did come, I ended up having a fourth degree tear. Naturally, I didn't want that to happen again. But I didn't know how to avoid it. Tracie taught me that laboring in different positions and pushing in different positions would allow gravity to help me push the baby out. She also gave me an endless supply of information to help me decide the exact birth that I wanted. To welcome my second son into the world, I opted for a birthing center that she recommended. Tracie showed up as soon as I called and gave me encouragement, support, and comfort. She massaged my back and kept my mind on the goal. The rhythm and gentle touch she offered during transition was invaluable. And when my baby arrived, she made sure I had everything I needed. Looking back on Jason's birth, I wonder how I could have gotten through it without her. I feel confident saying that Jason had a safe and comforting arrival into life because of Tracie.
