Having Hannah on our birth team was a game-changer! We had her for three prenatal appointments and as my birth doula. Even though I reviewed many resources and tuned into online classes, Hannah's prenatal appointments included new information that often surprised me. She would answer all my questions thoroughly, and it was clear Hannah made an effort to stay informed on prenatal and postnatal science. On top of this, Hannah was always super responsive, reliable, and trustworthy. Planning logistics and scheduling was an ease with her, and I was grateful that it was one less thing for a soon-to-be mama to worry about.

When the reality of the baby's arrival set in, her calming and warm presence reassured us as my pregnancy took a surprise turn. I had a long labor and Hannah was wonderfully balanced in providing empathic support while keeping me informed of things I should know and preparing me for what might come next. She was there for me when I needed her physically and emotionally during the toughest moments, but was also respectful of giving me space.

We're so grateful to have had Hannah's presence when we welcomed our baby girl. We can't recommend her enough!

Hannah is an amazing human being! Just the first five minutes of talking to her during our consultation, I knew she was the right fit as our doula. Hannah was easy to talk to and immediately understood our needs to have the birth that we envisioned. This was our second time with a doula and even so, felt like I had to refresh on some information and learn a few new things. My second pregnancy was a challenging one. I was diagnosed with everything in the book that was making me lose hope for another unmedicated birth as I hoped. Hannah checked in with so often and kept my mind calm especially in the last few weeks leading up to our labor. My feelings were always met with validation and no judgment from her. She always had the appropriate information to give me all the pros, cons, and scenarios that we can expect with different options.

When the day finally came, Hannah took an early morning call from my husband and she was with us every step of the way. She reassured my husband that I was doing ok and we were able to stay home to labor for as long as we could despite all the odds that we faced. Everything happened so quickly and we had to meet Hannah  at the hospital where she was denied access into the delivery room (what?!). She advocated the best she could, but before we knew it the baby arrived quickly, smoothly, and unmedicated upon arrival (within 20 mins).

Despite the situation with the labor & delivery team at the hospital (disappointing!), Hannah was the one who got us through it all and the birth of our son was everything we had hoped. Truly grateful for her and her continued support even through postpartum.

Hannah was fantastic, and we could not recommend her enough! Throughout the whole journey, she was there for us. She was incredibly knowledgeable, understanding, and just a delightful person!

My hubby and I don't think our labor and delivery would have gone as smoothly as it did without her assistance! Like most women, I didn't get my 'dream birth' experience. My baby had other ideas, so we had to pivot. Hannah guided us as we made those pivots. She helped us make informed decisions as new information/situations were coming up. It was great to have someone on our team the whole time to watch out for us and really know what is happening as she wasn't taking care of other patients like nurses and doctors have to do. She really focused on what was working for my body and what wasn't to help move things along!

Additionally, she was there for us during the pregnancy and postpartum. While pregnant, she gave us loads of information which helped me be less fearful. She provided my hubby with techniques to help me with early labor so he felt more confident too. She really made us feel like a little team! Then, after the birth it was amazing to have someone to talk with in person a week postpartum. Like most new parents, we had a lot of questions and she helped answer them and make us feel more confident with our new journey.

Couldn't have asked for anything better - Hannah was fantastic for us!

My wife and I decided to go with Hannah as our doula because she was straight to the point, responsive, flexible, empathetic, upfront, and with no BS. I'm a first time dad, and I really appreciated Hannah's detailed walkthrough of what to expect - it made me feel adequately prepared (unlike the hospital classes that were way too generic) and calm/ready for when the time comes. When it did, Hannah skillfully guided me to support my wife through the hours of labor (figuring out when to go to the hospital, rotating positions, breathing, focusing etc).

There is nothing too complicated in the (hopefully smooth!) delivery process (now that I know), but there is no way we'd have been able to do it on our own the first time - there is just way too much uncertainty and anxiety around it - but Hannah's mentorship made the entire process feel light, composed, and even pleasant: we knew that someone got's our back and we can be safe to focus on the labor progression.

In the end, both I and my wife enjoyed our labor and delivery day (which before I was almost dreading), and I thank Hannah for that!
