Until entering the maternal health world, I worked in the non-profit world advocating for women and girls who have been trafficked. Through this work, I am trained in trauma-informed care through Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Additionally, I have my Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) and I am currently in school to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
