I had a wonderful home birth experience with Marlene. This was our first baby and we were able to have the birth exactly the way we envisioned it. Marlene was critical for this. She was the perfect balance of helpful while respecting our wishes and beliefs. ?????

I’m so thankful for Marlene! As I prepared for a VBAC I was so encouraged by her (especially as a VBAC mom herself). She was super empowering as I prepared to give birth and used her own knowledge and skills to educate my husband and I. She was so kind throughout the whole process but knew how to help us navigate the many decisions we had to make when labor came. In the end we had a beautiful VBAC and I’m so grateful and would highly recommend to anyone to hire a doula especially Marlene!

Marlene has so much love for birthing women. She is supportive of your birth choices and believes in the strength of women's bodies. She has helped me navigate my choices in pregnancy. She's a sweet, wonderful mother herself. She has sent me so much helpful and educational information to help me make my best birth plan. Highly recommend her. Her presence is calming and supportive

I reached out to Marlene a few months before my planned July birth. She was wonderful from the beginning, providing me with information and also supporting my personal choices with the birth. In the end, my birthing plan did not pan out the way we anticipated, and I had to have an induction. Marlene was responsive via text, which I appreciated and was necessary as the baby came within 24 hours. It was late when I texted her that the baby was coming, and thankfully, she was awake and responded. She came quickly and was there for the active labor portion of the birth. I appreciated her support and advocacy very much. Afterward, she provided postpartum support, which was invaluable as it allowed me time to catch up on sleep. She also created a beautiful artprint of my placenta and also created a resin umbilical cord ornament that will be a treasured memory for years to come. Marlene is wonderful, and I highly recommend her.

Ive had three kids and with my last decided to hire Marlene as my doula. I wish I had her for all three. If you're on the fence its money well spent and id hire her again! She was with me through the hardest parts of my labor as such a peaceful supportive presence who gave me the courage and strength I needed to have the birth I dreamed of. No task was too much for her and she had the sweetest attitude through it all. She stayed up with me all night as someone to lean on emotionally AND physically lol. I was hesistant on if hiring a doula would be worth it and MARLENE is worth it AND more. She will forever be apart of this precious memory of the birth of my son. thankyou Marlene! You rock at what you do!
