After many evenings researching, and having met with several excellent candidates, we decided to go with Camila as a newborn care specialist for our first child. Neither my wife nor I have close family living nearby, so we thought we might need some support in the first few months. As things turned out, our baby was born 5 weeks premature, and — even though our contract wasn’t meant to start for a while yet — Camila made sure to be available for our first night home when we sorely needed a friendly and reassuring face (and helping pair of hands). Over the next 12 weeks, Camila continued to be a lifesaver. She has a wealth of knowledge and is generous in sharing it (always while being careful to respect boundaries and never, ever, feeling pushy or judgmental).

Camila truly cares for the children she looks after. Even during her off-days she would text us to find out how pediatrician visits went, or to send links that might be relevant to something she noticed the night before. She also has a great support network, which meant that one night when my wife and I unexpectedly needed some extra support, Camila was able to hook us up with someone within half an hour, taking time out from her family vacation to help us. (The person she introduced us to was also great.)

We have no hesitation in recommending Camila as an experienced, loving, and easy-to-work with specialist.

I recently hired Camila as a newborn care specialist to help with the care of my newborn and I am so grateful for the support she provided. From the moment she arrived, she was professional and compassionate, and she quickly became an invaluable member of our family.

Camila was able to take over the majority of the overnight feeding and diaper changes, allowing my partner and me to get some much-needed rest. This made a huge difference in our ability to function during the day and helped us to better care for our baby.

In addition to providing practical support, Camila was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to newborn care. She answered all of our questions and gave us valuable advice on everything from feeding and sleeping to development and milestones.

Overall, I highly recommend hiring Camila to any new parents. The support and expertise she provides can be a lifesaver during those early, overwhelming weeks. Camila was a true blessing and we are grateful to have had her by our side.

We hired Camila to help us care for our newborn when she was 3 weeks old. Having Camila around lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. Becoming a parent is so challenging and we were underprepared for many aspects (e.g., weight gain issues, exclusively pumping). It was a big turning point when she started working with us, and we finally felt like things were getting better and more sustainable.

She worked with us for a total of 4 months, providing both night time support and expert guidance for ensuring my daughter was hitting her milestones and creating good eating/sleeping habits. It was clear from day 1 that she had a lot of experience with babies and was very comfortable taking care of them (both at night and in the day). We felt very comfortable leaving our daughter in her care which made it easier for us to focus on recovering and our own health.

Camila is extremely professional, kind, empathetic, and trustworthy. She also has a big network and helped us to find daytime nanny care which we were striking out on. She really puts the needs of the child first and I would highly recommend anyone considering getting a NCS to work with her.

Camila provided night support to me and my newborn baby from day (night) one. She is so warm and loving with babies; my daughter was completely comfortable and would pass out in her arms after screaming at me all day. Having Camila’s help was indispensable to me in those exhausting first weeks. I looked forward to her arrival each time, and though I was exhausted I’d stay up to chat with her.
