My husband and I met Tiffany through Birthwise Midwifery School, while we were expecting our third child. I had experienced a difficult pregancy and birth with my first child, and another unfulfilling labor and delivery with my second. When I was pregnant with our third child, I made up my mind to have the best experience possible even if there was a chance that I could end up with another c-section due to the fact that I was attempting my second VBAC. Tiffany was very knowledgeable and supportive of our hopes to attempt a natural birthing experience. She helped educate us in methods of pain management that we were not very well educated in and was supportive of the methods that we were interested in trying. She was absolutely amazing during the labor process, offering pain management tecniques that made the labor easier to deal with, until I was rushed to the OR for an emergency c-section with concerns of uterine rupture. She was there for my husband while I was still asleep from the surgery, and she stayed at the hospital with us for hours after to make sure that we were comfortable and that we were adjusting to everything from the emergency delivery. Tiffany was absoutely wonderful to us, she followed up with us regularly after the birth and made sure that everything was going well and that both myself and our baby were doing well. All I can say is that while I didn't have the natural birth we were hoping for, that this was by far the best birth experience we had. Our support team was phenominal and made the birth a wonderful experience. I can't have asked for more! If we decide to ever have another child in the future, my first phone call will be to Tiffany in hopes that she can join our family again!
