Relevant volunteer or advocacy work: Hayley, born and raised in Hampton Roads, graduated from Norview High School in 2002. She began her studies as a practical nurse but soon learned this was not where she was meant to be. She took a job as a nanny for a wonderful family in Virginia Beach, where she happily worked for 9 years. She has dabbled in many subjects during her journey, including massage therapy and early childhood education. She finely found her place in the sun with a homebirth midwife, Jennifer Rector CPM, LM, as an assistant and apprentice. She hopes to spend the rest of her life learning and helping women, and families, with the wonderful journey of parenthood!
