We absolutely loved Jana from the moment we met her at our consultation! She is amazing at what she does and my husband and I immediately felt so comfortable with her. She check up on me all throughout my pregnancy and afterwards as well and was so knowledgeable with every question I asked her! I was in labor for an extremely long time and Jana went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. From putting pressure on my back for my intense back labor, helping me try many different laboring positions, keeping me hydrated, coaching me through the contractions, and giving me pep talks, she was there every step of the way with encouragement and was exactly what I needed! I truly don’t know what me and my husband would have done without her calming presence during labor. We love all of our beautiful photos and video that she took so much as well! If you are looking for a doula, we HIGHLY recommend Jana. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us!

I can go on and on, as to why you should select Jana as your doula! As a first time mom I interviewed several candidates and her energy was unmatched and now having her by my side in the delivery room I know why she was the one. She went above and beyond all my needs and truly got me through one of the hardest experiences of my life. She also took the most memorable photos, encapsulated my placenta, and made a keepsake of my umbilical cord spelled LOVE. Well I love her and if you need the best, she is it!

There aren't enough good things I could say about my experience with Jana! I tried to go unmedicated in my previous two hospital births but couldn't do it. I really wanted to this time as it would likely be my last pregnancy, so I decided to hire a doula. Enter Jana. From the first meeting I had with her I knew I made the right decision. She was down to earth, informative, supportive, encouraging, and gave great advice. I wanted to labor at home in my own tub for as long as possible, but unfortunately my water broke before I got into active labor. I stalled for a while and my doctor had me admitted to L&D, and my contractions almost stopped completely. They started talking about induction (which I didn't want to do). Needless to say, I got super discouraged. Both Jana (and my hubs) were incredibly encouraging and Jana jumped in with tons of great advice & suggestions about how to kick start labor again. After an hour and a half, she suggested I have some snuggle time with my husband and practice nipple stimulation together. She left us to it and by the time she came back to check on us about 20 minutes later I was in full blown active labor! Less than 2 hrs later my son was born, no induction needed!  I never would've gotten through my first unmedicated child birth if it weren't in part for Jana. My son ended up with shoulder dystocia with the cord around his neck, but the midwives were able to maneuver him out safely and quickly. The photos and memories Jana captured of what I couldn't see during the process were amazing and left me in awe about the whole experience. If you're thinking about hiring her, do it.
