Client Testimonials for Brandie Mercer

Brandie was such an awesome Doula. There is no way I would've continued through my labor without pain medicines had it not been for her by my side telling me I was superwoman, and that I could do it! I highly recommend her if you want a great Doula with lots of knowledge who is also a wonderful person inside and out. I can't wait to go through birthing pain free again, and I hope to be lucky enough to have Brandie by my side coaching me through again.

I decided that I wanted a natural birth so I spoke to a friend who gave birth naturally and asked for her advice. She said that she wished she could have had a doula because her baby was posterior and she didn’t know what to do. I had never heard of a doula before.
I did some research and decided that it would be a good idea. I knew I wanted to give birth in a hospital and I knew that the experience could be intimidating. I had been told by a nurse that 97% of mothers giving birth at my hospital received an epidural.
We were so lucky to have found Brandie. She provided strength and support throughout my very long labor (over 30 hours!). I would not have survived my back labor if it weren’t for her. She applied pressure to my back and it was the only thing that relieved my pain. I, like my friend, had a posterior baby. Brandie knew lots of positions to help coax the baby to move. The baby did move just before she was delivered.
Brandie is a very skilled doula. She has so much knowledge about pregnancy, child birth, and infant care. She had faith in me when I was about to give up and we were both exhausted. Thanks to her I gave birth without an epidural. There is no way I could have done that by myself. I would recommend her to anyone and plan to ask her to help with my next delivery.
