Client Testimonials for Sarah Camardo

Sara was AMAZING! I truly think one of the reasons my VBAC was a success was because she was there. Most of my labor was back labor and she always helped with the counter pressure, so much so that her hand started hurting by the end. she helped keep me moving. i wanted to just curl up and not move but she reminded me the more i moved the better it would be. She gave me words of encouragement the whole time. When it came to pushing my back labor was still there (but only at first). She suggested hands and knees position and it helped make pushing easier. They called the dr and told him to run cuz the baby was coming. He didnt like the position i was in and said "after this contraction turn her", it never happened. My daughter was born 8lbs 10oz 21.5in. The dr really hadnt done anything. Sara encouraged me, supported my decisions, suggested ideas, and just overall was there for me. Without her there i dont know if i would have found my inter strength and may not have had my VBAC. I will be using her services again for any other children we have and i will recommend her to anyone i know looking for a doula.

Sarah attended the birth of my second child in March 2011. From the moment Sarah got to my house, I knew that she had a gift for encouragement. Sarah has a kind demeanor and peaceful presence which helped me to relax and truly enjoy my labor. Sarah helped me during each contraction and helped me use a small pool for pain relief. Later at the hospital, Sarah helped by providing me with plenty of positive affirmation to get through the most challenging times. Hearing her cheer me on was very empowering to me. Sarah assisted me with several different pushing techniques and positions until I found one that worked well for me. With her help I was able to achieve an intervention-free birth just how I wanted. It was an incredible experience and a memory my husband and I will treasure forever.
Thank you Sarah for being a part of baby Madeline's birth day! You were a fantastic doula and such a positive addition to our birth team.
