I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Amber Dayney as my doula. My birth was a scheduled c-section from early on because of an heriditary issue with my son. However I went into labor a day before my operation. Which was a surprise for all of us. I had taken classes but in my mind I was not prepared for a natural birth because I was told it would not happen. When the nurse asked if I would like a doula I said 'yes'. Amber showed up shortly and it was like having a old friend in the room. I was so comfortable with her, she helped to calm me down and get me ready for the next few hours ahead. With me everything seemed to go very quickly and then it all just stopped! After a few hours of rapid progression then 6 hours of nothing my doctor decided to go ahead with the c-section as planned.  Amber offered to stay with us, and was by my side during the whole procedure, I was very grateful! I believe that Amber made our birth a very peaceful and relaxing event. I can not even imagine what it would have been like had she not been there that day. Amber is sweet, caring and was very considerate of our needs. I highly recommend her!!

My daughter Anna Adams used Amber Dayney for her Doula. I was present in the deliever room with my daughter Anna, which gave me the oppurtinity to see Amber at work.  Amber did a excellent job.  Amber's gentleness impressed me and how she would advocate for Anna in a very quite assertive manor.  The experience was very zen.  Amber new just how to care of Anna.

Not only was it helpful to Anna but it also was very helpful to my son-in-law and myself. It was nice to have someone in the room, who new just what do to help Anna during her labor.  This most defiantly help relieve the stress of the labor process for all concern.

If I was a expecting mother, I would heir Amber as my Doula in a heart beat.  I wish, I new about Doulas 37 years ago.

Amber Dayney is a angel in the deliever room.
