Relevant volunteer or advocacy work: I am currently completing my clinical hours for my IBCLC requirements at North Suburban Medical Center. Under the supervision of the Lactation Consultants, I counsel and advise new mothers on current techniques and benefits of breastfeeding.
Attends hospital births? All Hospitals I am open to attending births at any of the Hospitals in my area. I have experience at Swedish, Littleton, North Suburban, Good Sam, Avista, St. Joe's, University, Skyridge, Lutheran, and Boulder Community Foothills. If I am unfamiliar with your Hospital of choice I will attend a Hospital tour on my own, or with you if you would prefer. Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers Attends home births? Some Home Births I will attend a home birth that is also being attended by a Midwife. For legal reasons I will not attend an unassisted home birth.
Birth doula fee: $400 to $600 Fee details: I offer a free "meet and greet" to all couples so that we can see if we are a good fit. In order to reserve the 2 weeks surrounding your due date a $300.00 deposit is required as well as the completion of a small amount of paperwork. The remaining $300.00 will be due at the postpartum visit.
