Client Testimonials for Cindy lou Burgess
Brook Hampton
My experience with Cindy Lou as my doula was wonderful! She was devoted to my pregnancy and took a personal interest in my various stages and phases of development. She addressed my various concerns about childbirth and took her time conversing with me about birthing options. She was especially helpful in teaching me pain management techniques and gave marvelous back rubs for the back pain! Most of all, Cindy Lou loves her line of work and that translates into someone who is passionate and devoted to her client mothers.

Cindy and I met through a Business networking group many years ago and when I found out I was pregnant she was one of the first people that jumped into my mind. I have what one might classify as a phobic-level fear of pregnancy and child birth and a deep distrust of conventional medicine. A doula was a natural choice to help navigate the complex decisions and to mitigate my fears. So far, Cindy has been a great support in my third trimester providing answers to many of my questions and making sure to walk me through what I want and don't want to see happen during my upcoming birth process. I feel far more confident with her in my corner.

I have three children and my last was using Cindy Lou as a doula. I didn't know what I was missing. Cindy Lou cared for me, and my family, in a way that I never knew was possible for this type of relationship. Her presence, knowledge and loving care made me feel special, loved and honored to have to the opportunity to experience this always incredible event with my husband and her.
Cindy is so kind and loving, and makes you feel empowered with your pregnancy and birth experience. She made me feel safe in our hospital environment. When I had to have a c-section, despite what I had hoped, she helped put the situtation into perspective for me and my husband.
The aftercare Cindy gave was also immeasurable. Her love did not end with the birth experience, but for weeks afterwards. To this day, I consider Cindy Lou a dear friend and someone who I have a great deal of respect for, admire and am grateful to have in my life. She is a wonderful soul and will make anyone's birth experience one to be remembered and treasured.
