Client Testimonials for Beth Salerno
Catherine Blanksby
Both my husband and I agree that hiring Beth as our postpartum Doula was hands down the best thing we spent our money on! Worth every penny.
We were a bit scared to welcome someone into our house at such a venerable time – however our families are far away and we knew we would need help. Once we meet Beth our fears disappeared. I just clicked with her right away. She passes no judgment. She has great insight. She is calm yet confidant. She is well read. She listens more than she talks. We found Beth to be professional, pleasant, informed, resourceful, supportive, proactive (and I can go on and on). For the first three months of my sons live, we relied on her friendship tremendously.
She would come to our place three times a week for a few hours. Each day, we would greet her with a checklist of questions we had pulled together since her last visit and review them together while I breastfed. Beth’s thoughts were always appreciated. On the rare occasion when she did not know the answer to something she would go home and do research then follow-up with an email outlining the answers. She also showed us the 5 s’s as outlined in the book “Happiest Baby on the Block” which was a phenomenal tool.
She helped with laundry, she cooked my soup, she served me tea and made me feel special at a time when I really needed it.
I had a bit of trouble getting started breastfeeding and Beth totally supported me! I came home from the hospital beaten down and formula feeding. She calmly turned me around. I am now still breastfeeding my son 7 months later and have found it to be one of my favorite things about motherhood. Without Beth in the picture those early days I truly believe my husband and I would have given up!
I really cant recommend Beth enough. She is solid gold.

Beth Salerno was a wonderful help when my son, Michael, was born. She cared for my older daughters, then 5 and 3, in the late afternoon holding the newborn in the sling so that I could take a nap. Then later in the evening cared for my newborn while I put his sisters to sleep. I was impressed with her knowledge on newborn care and breast feeding and her flexibility. Beth can provide the wonderful supportive help that all new mothers deserve from their first child to their last.

I cannot recommend Beth highly enough! Beth helped us as a postpartum doula. She is patient, kind, and full of knowledge about babies' development, needs and how to make things work for the family. She helped us establish good sleep and feeding habits for our baby, and was very attuned to our specific needs, even as they changed from day to day. I hope we'll be able to have her back for our next child!

I had a fantastic experience with Beth as my postpartum doula. She knew how to wear a newborn safely and comfortingly, interacted beautifully with my 2-year-old as well with a neighbor's child who came over, and knew what to do to help out without being asked. She also provided me with resources to get in touch with other moms and support groups that I might find necessary. I still keep in touch with her, though she is a busy mom/doula. I'd highly recommend her to anyone with a new baby.
