Client Testimonials for Kristal Kelley

I was not sure quite what to expect when deciding whether a doula would be right for us. I had loads of questions and was nearing the end of my pregnancy. Meeting Kristal put all those worries aside. Kristal put our minds at ease from the moment we met her. From our first prenatal meeting we knew sharing our special day with Kristal would be wonderful. Kristal was always reliable and dedicated to MY birth plan from the beginning. She approached us with no judgments, and spent time asking questions to really figure out how we wanted to welcome our son into the world. I was very pleased that Kristal did not have her idea of how a birth should go but was dedicated in seeing how we wanted our birth to go. Kristal was available in the middle of the night when I called to inform her my water broke, she even got to the hospital before we did. She stayed with us as long as we said we wanted her to, attending to both my husbands and my needs. Ultimately without her as our doula I do not think my birth would have gone as successfully as she went through every scenario with us beforehand and prepared us properly for the big day.

Krystal was Wonderful! I had contacted her when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. She was more than happy to help me in anyway I needed and gave me lots of valuable advice about my particular needs. I was diagnosed with IUGR because baby was considered small for gestational age. This was a very confusing time for me and I was so happy to have a person like Krystal to help me with a kind word or some great advice. By the time that I had been 38 weeks, things were kinda scary for me. I had been having BPP every week and baby was ok but, still scary! It looked like an induction was on the horizon for me even though I was almost 3cm dialated and 75% effaced. I was determined to go au natural and Krystal kept helping me by supporting my decision. She was a wonderful help! When I got to 39 weeks, my ob decided and induction was best to make sure that baby was safe. Krystal was on her way to my side while I was induced but I knew by that point that I was going to get an epidural so, I told her to not come. I kinda wish I had her come afterall~ I had a calcified placenta and it would've been nice to hear her thoughts on that. In summary, Krystal is a very helpful doula and in general, a very pleasant person to work with. I appreciated her positive attitude and sunny disposition during a scary time for me. I would reccommend her to anyone looking for a cheery, knowledgeable person to work with. Some women were put here on earth to help other women and Krystal is definately one of them! Thanks Krystal!
