Whitney from Bentonville Birth Services is the most caring and intuitive doula I've ever met. Whitney was my birth doula for my 4th baby, I had only had 1 other birth with a doula and this birth experience was by far the most empowering, memorable, positive experience I've ever had. During prenatal visits, Whitney helped show me and my husband positions, stretches and exercises that helped prepare me for labor as well as encourage my sunny side up baby to turn. What's more is she helped me find a better mental and emotional space, she was available to chat whenever I needed support. During labor, she helped me trust the process and not try to rush it, she came to our home and knew exactly when to lead a position change to encourage progression all while helping me create a calm and in-control head space. I've always struggled with early labor because I have a lot of prodromal labor followed by super slow dilation. By the time we got to the hospital I was 6cm! This was the only birth I was able to achieve completely natural without medication. I felt so empowered to listen to my body's cues. Instead of blocking out the trauma of birth, I find myself looking back to that beautiful day, and it's because of the support of Whitney through it all. She did birth photography for us too and let me tell you, I will never ever regret capturing those raw and beautiful moments. Whitney captured every emotion without us even realizing she was taking photos. She's been amazing to work with, the absolute best doula and birth photographer.

Having Whitney be a part of my birth team was the best decision I made when preparing for my first baby. She is kind, compassionate, empowering, and so knowledgeable. She helped me make informed decisions regarding my birth preferences and fully supported me throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery, and post partum. Having her as my doula truly felt like I had best friend in the room at all times. I had an amazing birth experience and Whitney played a huge part in that!

I was skeptical at first about using a doula as I didn't think it would do any good. My husband encouraged me to at least have a consultation. I immediately loved Whitney, and felt a connection with her. She was exactly what I needed for my second labor and delivery. I wanted to have a successful home birth that I was unable to have with my first baby and Whitney was a key factor in bringing this to fruition. She is caring and intuitive, she is a strong advocate for her clients, and she is a calm, patient presence when you need it most. If you're wondering if you could benefit from having a doula, I assure you, you can. I highly recommend Whitney for that role. I'm eternally grateful that I had her by my side during the most intense moment of my life and I'd have her there again in a heartbeat.

Whitney is amazing! We hired Whitney to support me and my husband for baby number 4. My first three labors were very long and difficult - with the first two ending with epidurals and easy pushing phases and my third being unmedicated, but still long. I had experienced back labor and poor positioning, likely due to the shape of my pelvis (according to my midwife).  When Whitney and I spoke for the first time, I knew this birth would be different! She had so many amazing ideas for how to support me if I did have back labor again (we decided on movement during early labor among other things), and she truly listened to me - taking into consideration my past births and what I knew worked for me and what didn't. She understood where I was coming from, heard my fears and hopes, and also had the experience and knowledge for me to lean on and feel supported by a true professional in her field. She also held hope that this labor could be different. And it was! Baby number 4's labor (despite preparing for the opposite!) was fast and wonderful. Unlike with my past births, after it was over, I felt completely satisfied with the experience. Whitney was always there for what I needed. She came to my house with her positive, calm energy and knew just when it was time to go to the hospital. While there, she advocated for me, offering suggestions so that I could focus on staying calm and breathing through contractions. During transition, hers was the hand that I clutched. It was an added bonus that she was also there to document it all with her camera! I will treasure the memories of my last birth, and I am so grateful for her support.

Whitney was welcomed to my birth team as my birth photographer, but her presence was so much more than that. From our first meeting through our latest interaction, Whitney has always been a wonderfully positive and empowering force in the room. She is passionate about creating positive birthing experiences, and is assuringly knowledgable on the subject. For the birth of my son, Whitney arrived promptly and wasted no time photographing and offering positive affirmations. She remained communicative and reliable during the entire process, and my birth photos are something I will always cherish. I have only positive things to say about my experience, Whitney's services were worth every penny. If my husband and I end up having another baby, I'll be reaching out to Whitney first thing :)

Working with Whitney while I waited for and birthed my daughter was one of the best decisions I made. Her loving, calm and warm presence was so welcome in the space that we created for our homebirth. I literally wept when she came in the room because I was so happy to have her there to be with me. She was 100% supportive, fully in tune with me, and it was clear from the get go that she trusted my ability to give birth. She was also very encouraging and in touch frequently as I went past my due date and was not always the most patient awaiting my daughter's arrival. As a birth professional myself I know she is incredibly knowledgeable, an active presence in the community, and is always working to stay up to date in her learning. Whitney is an incredible asset to childbearing people. She is also a very gifted photographer and took some photos which I will treasure forever. Thank you Whitney!
