My experience with Desiree as my doula was amazing. I am so grateful to have found her and that she was able to be with me during the brith of my son. Desiree provided me with physical, emotional and moral support during my 11 hour labour. She respected my wishes and supported me 100% with all of the decisions we made. My labour was much different than I had imagined but thanks to Desiree it was still an amazing experience. I never felt alone with her by my side. A good doula is like a God send I now realize!! I will use Desiree again if I have another baby. Thank you Desiree for the amazing job you did!!

I had never heard of a labour doula before getting pregnant and reading about it in my baby books. At first I thought, "That's definitely not for me, I only want my husband in the delivery room, no one else." However, as we got further along in the pregnancy, we both began to get more nervous and uneasy about the big day. Then I met Désirée. She told me more about doulas and how much they can help you out, and she was so right! I can't imagine how my husband and I would have gotten through it without her. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had before my labour had begun, and when my water broke in the morning, we went straight to the hospital and Désirée showed up soon after. Throughout my labour, she really helped it pass easier by giving us ideas about which positions to get into and by helping me focus on breathing and staying calm. When I thought I couldn't take it anymore, she helped me believe I was strong and I could get through it. She was an absolute godsend and Mike and I are so glad to have had her at the birth of our son. I would recommend her whole-heartedly to everyone because she is a fabulous doula and I hope to have her again at the birth of my future children.
