Client Testimonials for Susan Joslin, PCD(DONA)

Susan was our doula for about 6 weeks when our twins were about 1-7 weeks old. She was a wonderful resource. She provided excellent care for the twins, and for our toddler as well, and for me as well. She was very knowledgeable about various newborn and post partum topics. I found her to be open minded about all topics we discussed, and interested in helping me in the ways I was most comfortable with. She also was willing to do just about anything to help, even accompanying me to exercise classes with the babies. And on car rides with the babies for me to find office space as I geared up to return to work. I found her lovely to work with and talk with, so much so that we still get together from time to time now with the babies already 9 months old.

Susan was a wonderful resource for my entire family when my second child was born. She has a very comforting, calm, caring manner about her and is very good about helping out without being at all intrusive. She provided logistical help in terms of laundry, light cleaning, figuring out how to work baby gear, etc. She also took care of my newborn so I could sleep, eat, shower, pay bills, etc. She was a great source of emotional support for me and was great with my older child, who was 3 at the time. I highly recommend her!

Susie helped me out for about 5 months when my twins were newborns. Her experience and services were invaluable during a very difficult time. She gets much of the credit for helping me keep my sanity during cholic, mastitis, learning to nurse twins, sleep deprivation, and exhaustion. Susie is very positive and super helpful. She assisted with all baby care tasks, including feeding, changing, rocking, singing, soothing, etc. AND she took great care of me too - preparing meals, running errands, researching local resources and support groups, doing laundry and dishes... she even offered to help clean the house! Susie is a wonderful, loving, caring doula, and a true baby whisperer.
