Client Testimonials for Trista Tetro
Charmaine Martin
If you are considering Trista as your Doula, look no further, she is the one. Trista is an amazing Doula. Whether or not you are planning a natural childbirth, Trista goes above and beyond her call of duty to provide for you the unlimited amount of support you and your partner need. For my third child, I decided to have a completely natural childbirth in the hospital. Upon meeting Trista, I knew she was exactly who I needed to assist me in reaching the goal of my birth plan. Prior to meeting Trista, I had read endless literature on natural child birth. Trista was every bit, if not more, knowledgeable on all methods and statistics surrounding childbirth. She is like a vocal encyclopedia ready to educate and guide you on your journey to labor and delivery. She is very open and honest about her own personal birth stories. What I loved most about my experience with Trista was her endearing passion for Labor and Delivery. The true test putting it all together came on November 1, 2011 at 4:30am when I called Trista in labor. She was immediately on her way to my house. Not realizing how for along I was, 15 minutes later we called her back changing routes to the hospital. Trista beat us there and already had Labor and Delivery pull my file and advised them on my birth plan, with a copy in her hand. When I arrived at the hospital, to everyone’s surprise I was 8cm dilated. I was having incredible back labor and pain. Trista gently showed my husband how to squeeze my hips together which relieved much of the pressure. Throughout the rest of my labor and delivery, about 1 hour, I was at total peace, still feeling lots of pain, but it was very manageable. I believe that was due to the work that Trista and I put into preparing me for labor. The most amazing part with the whole experience is that I found a friend in Trista. To this day, we still talk and visit. Trista is an amazing person and a terrific Doula.Good luck to all,Charmaine
